Don't Call Me That

The entire team was in team room enjoying the company of each other when a certain someone who was making his comeback entered. Harry saw him and ran to him hugging him tightly.

Harry: I am so happy Rah. You are finally back into the team.

Rahul smiled at him. Soon one by one all met him.. greeted him warmly except for the one person for whose warmth he was yearning since he was out of the team. Yes he was there on that stupid couch of the show Koffee with Karan but he didn't say anything. He knew he has disappointed everyone specially his parents and his Virat bhaiya. His parents have still maintained a distance with him and here Virat has not even spare a glance at him. Only if he would have done that he would know how much pain his this kiddo was carrying.

Virat was busy in looking into his phone or rather pretending to look busy in phone. Rahul was just looking at him longingly. Rohit noticed it and put his hand on Rahul's shoulder.

Rohit: He will come around. You just have to take baby steps okay.

Rahul being Rahul put up the brave face and looked at Rohit with smile.

Rahul: Of.. Of course B-Ro. I.. I'll just go and set.. settle my stuffs in room.

Saying so he just went from there. Virat got up and went to his room and started throwing pillows and cushions here and there. Rohit was looking at his frustration while learning to the door.

Rohit: Aur bhi chahiye? Mere room ke bhi le aau?

Virat didn't say anything. Rohit came inside sighing and made him sit on the bed and he himself sat on his knees holding Virat's hands.

Rohit: Vi..

Virat: I can't

Rohit: Vi .

Virat: Please don't Ro. Not now please.

Rohit nodded in yes and went from there. The entire day Rahul tried to talk to Virat but he was ignored. All have noticed it and explained him that even Harry was ignored like hell and then he was forgiven. But with him, it won't take much time for Virat to come around but somewhere Rahul knew better he thought.

It went on for 2 days when Rahul sometimes used to try to talk to Virat only to get ignored.. sometimes he just used to look at Virat longingly.. completely not knowing what he should say.. In all team bonding activities, he tried to partner Virat.. even Rohit also tried to make them partners but Virat didn't allow anyone to do that. He was a bit more strict with Rahul than Harry and it was visible to all. One thing which everyone except Virat has noticed was Rahul was talking a lot less even with Harry and Jassi too and was always used to quite stammer making them all confused on what he actually wanted to say sometimes. Virat didn't know about it as he has not hear him saying anything. He always used to get silent on Virat's presence.

Again the team except Virat was in the team room. Rahul sitting at a corner with Harry sitting beside him talking all nonsense. Virat came there clapping his hands.

Virat: Guys Australian team is coming in next week. We have gathered earlier to practice more and to plan better. I have planned practice sessions from tomorrow morning so that we can identify the areas of improvement and can work on them in next week. And then we will be all set for the series.

Rest all agreed.

Virat: Any questions?

Rahul was having a question but he was way too much hesitant to ask. Virat was looking at everyone observing their expression and looking at his kiddo, he knew he wanted to ask something. And this is the first time Virat saw him properly.  Damn his anger .. His kiddo is looking paler and thinner.. was he even eating anything thought Virat but then again reminded himself that he is angry. Virat started leaving but Rahul called him.
