Chapter One

Zephyrus POV

My friend Derek is the first to ask a question "What the hell man I thought we were besties?" Loki stares at Derek and then me with offence. "What the hell Zeph I thought we were besties!?" I then give Loki a dead eye stare. "You know damn well that you're my best friend Loki. And how many times do I have to tell you that we're not best friends Derek.

Besides how can you not be my best friend Loki. We've known each other since we were 2. And all the dumb crazy shit we've done." Loki then gives Derek a shit eating grin. To which Derek looks at me shocked while fake sniffling. Michael then says "Nice to meet the infamous Loki. And after hearing all the stupid shit you and Zephyrus have done, I can tell you live up to your name. This wolf hear is Derek as you now know. I'm Michael and I'm a Raven shifter. He's Kendall a cat shifter, That's Holy a farret shifter."

Michael says going around and introducing everyone at the table. Holy then pounces on me saying "Okay so why didn't you tell me that you knew the new student! I could have prepared a welcome party." She says with a threatening edge. I sling her off my shoulders into the chair next to me. "For one we both know that I don't keep my phone glued to my side. For two I didn't know until yesterday that my best friend was a new student. Now Holy please take a moment to breath sweet cheeks."

Holy then puffs up her cheeks and glares at me with a hidden threat in her eyes. Loki then burst out laughing and says "Oh my god! Doesn't she remind you of Claire. She'd get mad as hell at us whenever we called her fluffy. *Laughing* Hi sweet cheeks." Holy then launches herself across the table and tackles Loki shifting into her farret form.

Loki then shifts into his cat form as they play fight each other. I laugh harder as Loki gets his ass beat by Holy. I then grab and separate the two of them barely containing my giggles. Derek then says "What the hell are they feeding you where your from. How the hell are you two so god damn tall." I shrug and glance at Loki who shrugs as well. I then see Julia walking towards our table. Sliding to make room for her she then says "Okay so I just saw the other new student.

And it's a girl she's super pretty. Long Chestnut brown hair with gold highlights mixed in. And get this her Left eye is a dark gray while her right eye is a mix of gray and a shimmery hazel brown color. She's a chocolate goddess in my opinion. I can't tell what kind of shifter she is though. But I did get her name and her name is Kellisi!" Julia squeals happily.

Laughing I shake my head at her and then a mouth watering smell hits my nose. The smell of Lavender, cocoa, and a spring breeze fills my nose. I shift my head to try and find the smell only to realize the smells coming from Julia. I then ask "Julia did you perhaps hug or hold onto Kellisi?" Julia nods her head yes in response. I nod and softly smile, standing and excusing myself I then head towards my next class.

Loki then jogs up a few minutes later saying "You know I don't know this school well right? Besides why'd you suddenly take off after that?" I sigh stop and turn towards him. Sighing I say "I'm 70% sure Julia just found my mate. And I think it's Kellisi, but I don't want to meet her right now. Of course I want my mate it's just. Although I felt the pull my animals didn't speak out to me about the scent." Loki nods and pats my shoulder.

As we continue walking towards the next class I feel my tiger beast stir. 'Go and get our mate. One of them that is.' Shifting into high alert it's then I smell blood and I rush towards the smell. Running down the corridor I end up in Front of the locker room doors. Growling I push open the door to see a chocolate goddess laying on the floor out cold. Rushing over to her I see her blood on her forehead like she hit it hard on something.
