What a pleasant morning. The birds are chirping, critters are hopping about, the river is flowing, and there's a random dude sprawled on the ground.
"Ugh, my head......." Waking up groggily, the guy held his head, a skull-splitting migraine making it difficult for him to sit up.
'What the hell happened to me? Am I hungover? I don't recall ever drinking any alcohol last night.' Trying (and failing) to sit up, he simply decided to lay down for a while to try and gain his bearings again.
Akito Akihara is a young, brown haired guy whose recently turned 20. He is someone people would describe as plain-looking, and in the words of his past crush, a '5'. Not ugly, but not particularly handsome either. He was just........ mid. Akito didn't really know if he should take that as a compliment or an insult. Nevertheless, he never approached that girl ever again.
Wearing a grey hooded jacket with a white t-shirt underneath, black jeans and a pair of brown steel-toed boots, his choice of clothing is one that isn't particularly normal either. The hoodies and pants are fine, but who in their right mind wears steel-toed boots for casual wear? And its brown, to boot!(pun unintended).
While people who don't know him might see him as a plain and normal looking dude, one you would usually ignore when looking over a crowd, he was far from a normal guy either. He was one of the smartest kids in his highschool. In fact, he almost graduated as the top of his batch, if not for a girl who was just as smart and far more talented than him.
That brainpower of his helped him immensely in his college years. It got him through the worse parts of his lessons, relying solely on it to keep his grades consistent.
In fact, Akito was just coming back home to his apartment last night after picking up some books he borrowed from a friend. As he was walking back to his room, he suddenly blacked out, and now here we are, in this random forest in the middle of nowhere.
'Was I abducted or something? But that doesn't make sense! Most of the stuff I had on me is not missing, and the books are untouched. Why would anyone just kidnap me and throw me in the middle of nowhere? Unless.........'
A sinking feeling formed in his stomach. Did they throw him out here, hoping that the elements would kill him? That a wild animal would hopefully maul him to death?
"But why!? I don't remember ever being on the bad side of anyone! No one should have a reason to try and kill me!" Akito said loudly, now sitting up and looking around himself.
'Well, there's no point wallowing in misery in this place. I don't have my phone with me and all I have is a handful of books, a ballpoint pen, and a silver ring I picked up in the park a few months ago. I should try to get to civilization myself.'
With that done, he stood up and began to walk past the thick shrubbery. After a while of wadding his way past hard and pointy bushes, he finally found a dirt road.
'Wait, dirt road? How far did those psychopaths bring me into the wilderness!? Were they seriously trying to kill me?' One important thing to note about Akito is that he is not athletic. Far from it. The only sports he was ever any good at was tennis, and that was when he was still in middle school!
'If any wild animal decides to chase after me, I'm cooked!' An apt description. He would probably be animal food if he ever got chased.
"I swear to god, those assholes will go to prison for doing this! Whoever the hell you guys are, I'm going to sue your asses to the ground!" Akito declared loudly to no one in particular.
After mentally chiding himself for his embarrassing display, he began following the dirt road. He could still see the tracks of something walking over the soft dirt.
