Woah, holy shit! New chapter! Unbelievable!

It's been a while, huh. Finally got free from all the school-related stuff I had to deal with. That's on me for taking up a new hobby 2 weeks before school opens.

Welp, I say I'm free, but I have an upcoming exam in like 3 days. I'm pretty much fucked. I dunno what possessed me to start writing this particular thursday, but here we are. Anyways, hopefully this isn't as shit as I think it is. Enjoy!

Orario. Valis. Adventurers. Familia. Gods.

Akito knows now. He understands. Not only is he in another world entirely, but he's in the world of an anime that he obsessed over when he was still a teenager.

Danmachi. He was in the world of Danmachi. What the hell! Why here!? Being in a fantasy world was bad enough, now he has to deal with the fact that he's in an anime's world.

'Well, lets look at this with in a better light. I knew this anime like the back of my hand when I was still in highschool.' Knew, not know, because that was at least four years ago, and he hasn't touched the show ever since he stopped.

His knowledge about the world is spotty or lacking at best, completely wrong and forgotten at worst. He knew the earlier parts of the story well, from the beginning all the way up to the War Game with Apollo Familia. Past that, he couldn't trust his memory to be fully intact.

'Still, I don't know what part of the story I'm in right now. Am I in the Golden era of Orario? If so, then I'm fucked. I don't know much about the pre-anime era, but I know that the adventurers are on steroids, the massive, calamity causing monsters are still around in the surface, and Evilus is still active.'

Anyone of those things is a problem for Akito. Encountering any of them could potentially lead to death for him. Akito is not planning on dying.

'Should I even go to Orario at this point? I mean, what reasons could I have to head there?'

Akito was saying this to himself, but he knew he had to check the place out. He was obsessed with the anime once, after all. He still has that part of him deep inside.

'Ah, fuck it. I'll ask around, see if I can get people to talk about the place and what's happening there currently.'

His journey with the miners was finally over. They had walked early in the morning, all the way up to afternoon. Akito still had a few hours he could spend asking around before it was evening.

Looking around the town of Tondor, he spotted many shops, most of which was run by traveling merchants. Walking towards them, he began looking around for a caravan or two that was willing to take him with them.

Where to? Orario, of course! As much as Akito wasn't willing to die, he still needed to know what he's dealing with. Plus, if he was correct, these guys are traveling merchants. What do they typically do? They travel, obviously. If anyone knew anything about what's happening in the world (or the country), it would be these guys.

Yep. Totally not because he wanted to check out the setting of an anime he was obsessed with. That's stupid. And childish. He is a grown man now.

'Alright then.... Here goes nothing'

Approaching one of the merchants standing besides a stall, he began to ask about the general events that is happening or had recently happened in the world. In particular, he asked about the things happening in Orario.

Surprisingly, the merchant answered all of his questions. they even talked about a few things their caravan came across in the Far East.

"........after traveling for as long as we have, you're bound to find some interesting things to talk about." The pleasant, albeit rotund merchant said after a long tale about his journey.

"I see. That's really interesting. I myself am going on a little journey, so its nice to know a group like Evilus has long been taken down by the adventurers." Score! Not only does Akito now know more about the world in general, he also knows that he's around the main story's time.

'Ok, that's either good or bad. Good in a sense that Evilus is less active, adventurers aren't as OP, and the most of the Great Calamities are dead. Its bad in that its the main storyline, which means I have to deal with the main cast's shenanigans. Either way, I'm in danger. But I guess it's better to deal with Ishtar than Hera at her prime.'

"Um, if I may ask? Are you headed to Orario, by any chance?" Akito tentatively asked.

"Oh, yes. We were just getting ready to take our stalls down. Do you want to come along? I'm sure we have some space in one of our carts. We would be glad to have you aboard."

"I would like that, indeed. Don't worry, I am willing to pay for it as well."

"No need, my boy. I know an aspiring adventurer when I see one. I myself wanted to be one when I was young! All that I ask of you is to take care of yourself in there, young man. No treasure and profit is worth putting your life in danger. Its one of the many things you learn as a traveling merchant! Hahahaha"

After talking to the kind merchant, Akito decided to help around with the hauling of the caravan's cargo. He felt that this is not just a simple stroke of luck, but a sign from someone, or something. Maybe the one who sent him here wanted to nudge him to head to Orario.

'So that's your game, huh. Alright, I'll play along for now. I admit, I want to see this world through my own eyes, experience it in full. But just because I want to be an adventurer, doesn't mean I should go on Adventures. Heh, using one of Eina's popular sayings feels very fitting.'

'Speaking of Eina, I wonder how the characters would look like in real life? Welp, another thing to look forward to, I guess.'

Traveling with the caravan was surprisingly peaceful. Akito does know that monster attacks are rare on the surface, but he expected atleast one to try. Welp, that doesn't matter now, since he'll be getting a surplus of it soon. He's arrived after all. He's finally seeing Orario in the horizon. Specifically, the Babel tower.

"Woah...." Akito dumbly stared as he saw the gigantic tower in the distance.

"Incredible, isn't it? That's exactly what I looked like when I first saw it myself. Hahaha!" The cheerful merchant, Bartol, laughed.

"It is quite a sight, Bartol-san. I can't believe something like that could actually be made."Akito said, genuinely amazed.

"Well, that's gods and goddesses for you. They can make anything happen if they put their mind into it." Bartol answered.

Arriving at the gate of the city, Akito could see a line that has formed in front of the gate.

"Should we wait in line as well, Bartol-san?" Akito asked.

"No, that's unnecessary. Caravans can pass through the gates, no lines needed. Besides, the guards already know me! We do have to get our cargo checked once we're inside, though."

And indeed, they where let in without much hassle. He was asked to identify himself by a guard (probably a Ganesha familia member), but aside from that nothing much happened.

"So, I guess that's it then, young man. It was good to have you around for company. I must say, you're quite knowledgeable about economics and running a business! If adventuring doesn't work out, you know where to find me." Bartol said to him with a wide smile.

"Thank you, Bartol-san. I appreciate your offer. I will be sure to talk to you again someday." Akito said.

"Goodbye then, young man. Take care."

"I will, Bartol-san. Goodbye." After saying his last farewell and bowing, he went forth to start exploring the great city before him.

"Let's go on an adventure now, shall we?"
