The third division's medical facility, a place full of nurturing and caring people. The atmosphere is peaceful and people often visit here.

As for me, I love this place.

"Good morning, mitsuya-san! I wanted to get my ankle checked out, if it's okay." A defense force officer entered the infirmary, getting met by the chief nurse who had just punched in. "Of course, have a seat." Shoko smiled as she got up from her desk, going towards the officer who sat on the bed.

For a very long time, I've always liked taking care of people and helping them get better. This place gives everyone the outmost patient care and offers support animals that act for comfort during their time here.

I work hard to transmit the feeling of warmth and the feeling of being cherished to the patients as well.

"I was told that you were one of the kindest around back then, I'm happy that it wasn't a lie" The officer grinned while shoko was securing their ankle with bandages, turns out they had a massive cut, possibly from training. "I'm pleased you think that way." Shoko replied, giving the officer a closed-eye smile.

The patients who come here always have such warm and beautiful smiles. This is the perfect place for me..It's my calling, sanctuary, and healing place.

"Thank you for this, mitsuya-san!" The officer waved good bye to the girl before leaving the room, making her let out a contented sigh.

"Sho-chan ~♡"

The door burst open, revealing the third division's vice-captain, soshiro hoshina.

Well, it was supposed to be my sanctuary..

"I'm here here early, I missed youu!" Hoshina grinned, giving the nurse a hug as she squirmed around to get out of his hold. "Didn't I tell you to come here ONLY when you're injured?" She retorted, making the vice-captain hum as if he was thinking for a second. "My heart ached because I missed you, that counts, doesn't it?" He cooed as the girl heavily sighed. "Unless it's heart disease, no."

Recently, My sanctuary has been disrupted.

"Vice-captain hoshina." "Hmm?"

The nurse pushed him off of her before going back to her desk "I'm in the middle of work." She deadpanned, making the man pout. "Eh? I'm a patient. Take care of me!" He leaned his body against the desk with a toothy grin as shoko flicked his forehead, earning a wince from the man. "This isn't a walk-in, hoshina."

Having a conversation with a guy I don't get along with is painful in itself and yet..

"Say, sho-chan.." Hoshina started, laying his head on the desk as he gazed upon shoko's image. "Have you come to like me yet?"

And there's this situation.

*LAST WEEK...
"Mitsuya-san, You have to go celebrate with us tonight. We're drinking with some of the defense force officers and I heard the hot vice-captain is gonna attend!" Her co-worker told her as shoko sighed and made her pointer fingers form an x. "I have to work tonight, sorry" She replied, shifting her eyes back to her computer as the other nurses started gathering. Most of them sad because the chief nurse doesn't let herself rest or have fun.

"But we're getting invited! We've done a huge sum of contributions to the recent kaiju battle, we've done 3 all nighters to help them so they're treating us tonight~" Another nurse mentioned, shaking shoko's shoulders to persuade her. "I guess, just tonight. We've done a great deal so.." The chief nurse muttered, giving in to her nurse's request as her co-workers gave each other high-fives because they've finally convinced her to come to one of the events.
