Time Travel: Harry Potter Next Generation

Departure

The next morning was full of both Hermione's, Rose, and Dumbledore setting up plans for the future Weasley-Potter's to get home.

It was also filled with chaos. James and Fred started making noise at 5:00am and woke everyone up. Needless to say Molly put them on kitchen duty until they departed. Future Ginny smirked at her son as he looked up at her with an apologetic look on his face, fear of his grandmother in his brown eyes.

"So, just curios, exactly what happened between us and Ron?" Young Hermione asked her future self earning a blush from a nearby young Ron who could hear the whole conversation.

"Well, it's not exactly the most romantic first kiss to most people but it was enough for us. It sort of just happened in the Room of Requirement." Future Hermione told her younger self as she turned around and smiled at her husband. Young Hermione nodded pulling her hair behind her ears and glancing shyly at young Ron.

Over at the dinner table Bill Weasley was talking to his future daughters about his future life.

"Well you know dad, you do get scratched by Fenir Greyback at the end of Uncle Ron, Uncle Harry, and Aunt Hermione's sixth year and you don't really look the same..." Victorie told her young father and looked alarmed by the depressed look on his face.

"Yeah, at first I didn't even recognize you! You kinda lose that pretty boy face but mum doesn't seem to mind." Dominique added and Bill looked shocked. Victorie shot her sister a look.

"Way to tell it like it is Dom!" Victorie said rubbing her fathers shoulder to comfort him. Dominique took a bow.

"One of my specialties Vic." She said in a rather fancy voice.

Meanwhile on the couch Teddy, Remus, Tonks, and Harry were talking about newborn Teddy.

"I remember at Shell Cottage when Remus came with a picture of Teddy and his turquoise hair starting to grow." Future Harry laughed and Remus and Tonks looked at Teddy who looked down at the ground holding back tears.

"Wow, so you're a Metamorphagus like me then!" Tonks looked proudly at Teddy and he nodded.

"Yup, turned his hair pink at Ron and Hermione's wedding. All of Hermione's muggle family thought I was mental to dye a babies hair pink." Harry laughed and so did Remus, Tonks, and Teddy when both Hermione's screeched.

"Done it!" They both yelled and ran over to the group of people. Everyone looking excitingly at the time turner.

"All we have to do now is throw it on the ground around all of us." Future Hermione told her family from the future and they nodded.

After lunch everyone started to say goodbye and as the Weasley-Potter's (and Malfoy) huddled together they saw Albus Dumbledore performing the memory charm on their future family. Ginny glanced at Fred and George sitting together laughing and tears found their way to her eyes.

When everyone was huddled together Hermione threw down the time turner and grabbed Ron's hand and closed her eyes tightly.

When she opened her eyes, they were standing inside Harry and Ginny's home the way it had looked before they had left.
