In the car, on the way to Samar's engagement venue. Ashrit gazed out of the window, while Kabir was scrolling reels on instagram, vibing on "husn tera- tauba tauba".
"Bira?" Ashrit called him out, still gazing out.
"Hmm?", he hummed while scrolling reels on instagram.
"Sun yaar, mujhe naa alag si intuition ho rahi hai" Ashrit said uneasily.
"Shaadi Sam ki hai aur jitters tujhe ho rahe hain." Kabir said laughingly.
"Pata nahi yaar, thodi weird si feeling aa rahi hai" Ashrit said.
"Haan, I still can't believe ki Sam shaadi ho rahi hai" Kabir said.
"Arey bhai bachpan se saath hain, aur aaj uski sagai hai isliye esa lag raha hoga, itni tension mat le!" Kabir said looking at Ashrit's misery.
"Hmmm..." Ashrit hummed, closing eyes for some peace

After an hour since our arrival, Vaidehi Didi took the stage and revealed a surprise for Charu Bhabhi. Two girls dancing, who are they? I don't know, but the one in purple. I felt as if I know her from years. Clad in a mesmerising shade of purple, her long, flowing hair, framed her angelic face. The dimple-smile adding a touch of sweetness to the enchantment. It was evident that she was excited and enjoying herself. Charu bhabhi's excited screaming broke my trance and I glanced at Bira. I wondered about his reaction.
Kabir POV
Ohh fish! Ye Dr. Mahi? Yahaan? Wese hospital mei bhoot ki tarah behave karti hai, baat bhi nahi karti aur yahan thumke laga rahi hai. Wese... lag toh sundar rahi hai.
I came out of my delulu world when saw Ashrit looking at me.
"Tu usko ese kyun dekh raha hai?" Ashrit asked me.
"Tuuu kyuun nhi dekh rha thaa?" I backquestioned trying to change the topic.

"Lekin ye sawaal maine tujhse pehle puchaa naa" Ashrit argued.
"Baad mei kyuun nhi poocha??, arey chhod naa! Par ye dono husn pariyan hai kon?" I changed the topic successfully.
"Mujhe kyaa pata" he replied.
