16 years ago in The United States of Auradon, Queen Aurora gave birth to twins. The youngest a girl named Audrey and the oldest a boy named Xavier.
Even though they were twins they couldn't be more different. Audrey was a spoiled brat that always got everything she wanted. But Xavier felt ignored and alone. Everything he did, he was always second best to his little sister. By the time they were 10 Audrey had so many friends while Xavier had only one. A Prince named Ben. They did everything together. Played sports, studied, hung out whenever they could. They felt inseparable but one day that changed.
One day Ben just stopped hanging out with Xavier. Eager to know why he went looking for his friend at his castle. And what did he find? Ben hugging Audrey. Feeling betrayed for the last time, Xavier ran away. He was tired of not being noticed by people or by his own family. So one night he decided there was only one place he could go. Where outcasts if that's what you want to call them like him were banished. The Asle Of The Lost. No one in his family knew that over the years Xavier had been practicing magic. So he used a spell to temperately lower the barrier surrounding the Asle. When he arrived he met 4 kids. 2 boys, one with short curly white hair and freckles. This Carlos son of Cruella DeVille the Other had long black hair and was wearing a red hat. This was Jey Son of Jafar. The others were 2 girls. One was a blue haired girl named Evie and the other with purple hair was named Mal daughter of the worst of the worst Maleficent but who her father was she wouldn't say.
At first they didn't know what to think of Xavier but as time went by they soon became friends with the Villain Kids or VKs for short. At first Xavier didn't tell them about his family until about 3 years later. Despite being VKs the 4 couldn't help but sympathize with the forgotten twin. By then they accepted Xavier as one of their own despite their parents not trusting him. Soon Mal and Xavier developed a crush on each other by the time they were 14. But despite having friends Xavier still felt anger and hatred whenever her look out at Auradon. So he made a promise to himself. One day he would return and he'd make them all suffer and become the new king.
