“This is going to sound crazy, but… from the moment I first set eyes on you I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you.”

Avyaan scrubbed in for the surgery, his focus laser-sharp. The operating room was his domain, and he was determined to save his patient's life.
The operation was a success.

Three weeks laterAs he worked, a faint memory lingered in the back of his mind - the young woman from the hospital corridor. He couldn't explain why, but her image stuck with him.
Just then, a nurse interrupted his thoughts. "Dr. Soni, we need you to examine a new patient. A 3 week old baby."
Avyaan's gaze met the nurse's, and he felt a sudden jolt. Could it be...?
He entered the examination room, and his eyes locked onto the woman from earlier - Mishika. This time, she held a tiny bundle in her arms, and their gazes met with a spark of recognition.
.
Mishika anxiously waited for the doctor to examine Aisha, her heart racing with every passing moment. She had been on edge since leaving the hospital, her mind flooded with worries about her baby's health.
As the door opened, a tall, handsome doctor entered, his eyes locking onto hers with a hint of recognition. It was the same man she had seen in the corridor earlier!
"Dr. Soni." he introduced himself, his smile warm and reassuring.
"Dr. Soni, this is Baby Aisha," Mishika said, her voice soft. "I'm her mom."
Avyaan's professional demeanor took over, but his mind raced with questions.
Mishika felt a sense of relief wash over her as he began examining Aisha. His gentle touch and soothing words calmed her fears, and she found herself opening up to him about her concerns.
As he examined Aisha, he couldn't help but steal glances at Mishika.
Mishika couldn't help but notice the way Dr. Soni's eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled or the way his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck. She felt a flutter in her chest, and her heart skipped a beat.
What was happening? She was a new mother, focused on her baby's well-being, and yet...this stranger was stirring emotions she thought were long buried.
