"You look young." Cecilia said.
"I'm fourteen years old." I replied. Just then my attention including everyone else's was draw to an argument that had broken out, apparently someone lost their arm and they were yelling at the person who did it.
"Did you not understand? No fighting during break time." a male voice said, that caused everyone to look at him. But the boy with the lost arm was still angry and started to yell at the blonde person that had spoken up.
"I'm the test administrator... Lero Ro." The red skinned male that had lost his arm called him a ranker and seemed a bit more cautious of the man now. 'Is a ranker something important?' I questioned in my mind. Just as I was about to ask Cecilia or Chase I overheard someone answering my unasked question.
"Rankers are people who've reached the top of the Tower." a blue haired dude explained, to the brunette boy he sat next to.
"They are assigned a ranking every season in the Tower. And that's why they are called rankers. Only one or two out of thousands of regulars get to be rankers. Quite frankly they are monsters. They've got crazy power."

3rd POV:

"Mic test. Regulars over here! Please focus!" Lero Ro commanded politely. "I will explain the next round! Before that, to give you some brief information about myself. I'm your test administrator, Ranker Lero Ro. Nice to meet chu." Lero's way of speaking confused most of the regulars who thought he would be more professional.
"Now that you've had some time to rest, let's get on to the next test!" Lero said.
"But before that, there will be a little pre-test! FYI! Those who don't pass this pre-test... Cannot take the next test!" The regulars were shocked to find out that the pretest was another elimination test.
"Ha ha! Don't worry! It is a really simple pre-test!" the administrator chuckled.
"Relax. Alright, let's begin the pretest" Lero extended his arm out with an evil grin spread across his face, he then began saying,
"This way and that way, here and there, and everywhere. And boom!" Suddenly everyone began to be pushed back by a strange force, the strange force was a condensed barrier of this thing called shinsu. Lero Ro goes on to explain what shinsu is, saying that shinsu plays an important role since it allows people to breath and provides water. But shinsu can also be used as a powerful murder weapon
"Highly concentrated shinsu is so strong it can break an arm, So all the contestants in the tower use shinsu to fight." Lero explained.
"However, there are people who show adverse reactions to shinsu. In other words, those who can't deal well with shinsu...are not appropriate candidates to be in the Tower. The people who can pass through this veil barrier don't have adverse reactions to shinsu at least. The teams that pass through the barrier pass the test as well, and those who don't, fail. Alright then, everyone. Please come through." No one moved, they all stood confused and unsure on the rules of the test. So breaking the silence someone spoke up.
"Wait! Did you say team? What if one of your teammates can't pass through the barrier?" To that question Lero gave a simple answer.
"Isn't it obvious? That team fails." Complaints about the rules could be heard throughout the entire room. Lero Ro put his hand to his face and then quieted all the regulars down by speaking up, he stated that this tower was all about luck. Luck was the thing that will get you through the tower.
"Um... Sorry... Mr Lero Ro... Um... I--I don't know why, but I wasn't pushed out... Neither was that person over there." A brunette boy, also known as Bam, said while pointing at the other person.
"Um... To take the test... We should probably go out and come back in, right?" Bam started to laugh nervously when Lero's shocked eyes met the boys on his side of the barrier. The young brunette apologized and was about to go to the other side of the barrier with the others when the administrator stopped him.
"No, Mr Bam. You're in. As well as Mr Yuma." Lero stated with a fake laugh.
"I think I made a mistake, but... That is also part of luck. You passed, Mr Bam, Mr Yuma." shouts of confusion and protest could be heard. The other regulars didn't think it was be fair to let two people pass because they weren't pushed back. But the presence of the two on Lero's side of the barrier had peeked the interest of some people who knew that the test administrator hadn't made a mistake. 'Monsters have arrived...' Lero thought as he stared the two boys down.
