4th GRADE YEAR

Chapter 1

Paige's POV

4th grade.....new school.....what am I gonna do? Well....at least it's not a NEW school..it's just where I stay,4th grade starts at middle school. Oh yea. I'm Paige Marie. Yes,my last name is Marie. Weird right? Anyway...I'm just sitting in this car till my mom finally says "Paige! We're here." I step out. I walk to the door. Here goes nothing.

Edreess' POV

Soooo....I'm sitting in a classroom. You know the teachers blabbing about regular first day stuff. Then, I see her. She walks in. I've seen her from past years like fun day events and stuff but god! The teacher says "well hello. And your name is?"

Paige's POV

"I'm Paige. Paige Marie." I don't usually talk proper. But I don't wanna seem unladylike. She says "welcome to the 4th grade,take a seat anywhere." As I walk to my seat though, I see this boy staring at me. Does he think I'm weird? Ugly?

For the rest of the,well,week was just a normal week. We met back up with friends,sat in homeroom, just usual stuff. Then something happened. On our first day of 2nd period,we got put in groups. Guess who was in mine? The eye promblem boy!

Edreess' POV

Paige sits in my group in 2nd period. She's so pretty..but I think she notices me looking at her though. We've had conversations. She's...interesting. You know one of those

"Let's be real" people. I think we'll be really close friends.

Paige's POV

Me and Edrees seem to be friends now. He's cool just one of those "shy when I wanna be" people. I think he likes me. He always looks at me and stuff. Or maybe he thinks I'm ugly and he's trying to figure out how one human can be that ugly.

Chapter 2

Edreess' POV

It's the end of the year. We've become so close friends. I still don't think she's got the hint I like her. That's ok. Maybe were just better friends.

Paige's POV

*sigh* this class sucks....Edrees is all the way across the room, it's May so its kinda hot, and I'm in math. Which I suck at. Oww! A note hits me in the back of the head. I look and see Edrees cracking up. I open it and it says "what is wrong with you?" I look and shake my head. He still looks worried though.

Edrees' POV

Paige smiled a little but still seems upset....I don't know what to do. Oh yea, I've been thinking...I should kinda give up on this crush thing. She seems uninterested. That's ok.....
