The next day, Shin and Hikaru spent the entire day taking pictures around the place. Happiness overflowed as they enjoyed the sights, views, and their time together.
Days later, they finally finished their portfolio and were able to submit it on time. After all the other groups had presented their portfolios, it was finally Shin and Hikaru's turn to present. Everyone in the room was delighted and liked the portfolio.
"This place holds a very special place in both of our hearts. We are grateful that we found this great location to provide wonderful shots and create wonderful memories," Shin introduced.
"Despite the inevitable circumstances, I am lucky to be here standing in front of you together with my partner," Hikaru continued, looking at Shin and smiling as Shin gently held his hand and smiled back. "We are proudly presenting this portfolio we've created. It proves that destiny does bring people together for a purpose," Shin concluded.
They showed their presentation with the theme "What's for Dinner?" featuring pictures of themselves. After the presentation and as everyone concluded, Shin and Hikaru's portfolio was chosen as the winner by the boss and everyone in the room.
"How was the trip?" the manager asked Shin and Hikaru.
"I finally found the reason to go back and confronted my fear that night, sir. Thank you so much," Shin started.
"I finally reunited with the person I've been waiting for, sir. Thank you so much," Hikaru followed.
"I'm glad to hear that. Congratulations!" the manager said, giving them both a thumbs up and smiling before leaving with the boss.

Weeks later, Shin was promoted to head manager, while Hikaru became the assistant manager and head photographer. Over time, their feelings and intentions grew stronger, prompting them to embark on travels together. Upon returning home and reviewing their photos alongside Hikaru’s old solo shots, they made a startling discovery. In each of Hikaru’s solo shots from various locations, Shin appeared coincidentally, as if fate had orchestrated their encounters.
“Ehhh is that you? Have you been in these places?” Hikaru asked.
“Looks like we’re truly destined to be together,” Hikaru remarked, awe evident In his voice.
“You brought light into my life, Hikaru, and made me really happy,” Shin expressed gratefully, his words filled with warmth and appreciation.
As they continued to flip through the photos, a sense of serenity settled between them, knowing that their journey together was not just a series of coincidences but a beautiful tapestry of destiny. With newfound understanding and appreciation, they embraced the future, ready to explore the world hand in hand, knowing that whatever adventures lay ahead, they would face them together.
