Shadow POV

In the dark moonlit night at the cemetery, I visited Maria's grave stone whenever I feel...lonely.

It was silent to feel the cold breeze of the wind in the night surrounded by darkness.

I was holding a bouquet of white lilies talking to her...

If Maria was still alive...things wouldn't turn out the way it is... Many more children will be heald.

"Maria, I wonder...when will everything end...?" ask staring at the moon who glows before me.

For a few moments I sigh placing down the flowers on her stone and noticed a shiney object from the ground.

I was curious what it was, so I picked it up and observe it's material. It was a golden pin that is craft with elegant design.

But then I realized the crossbow, symbolizing the hunters, my enemy. My teeth clenched with anger, gripping the emblem, knowing they are the ones who killed my dear sister!

"Vampires working with the Hunters!? How dare they!"

The night's cold breeze suddenly became stronger and I never thought I will be needing more information from that blue hedgehog...and so, I and made my way into his house.

*BAAM!!
I slammed the door of his apartment to see him chatting along with citizens on the lobby.

Everyone was surprised from my sudden presence with their cup of tea.

"Ah!?"
"Oh my!"
"Jolly!"
"?....Hm??"

"?!"
Sonic was stunned with a broom on his hand, but as I checked every living being in here, I noticed all of them are senior citizens. The place seems quite nice and cozy with a scent of powdered lavender, tea, and coffee.

"Shadow!?" Sonic sneerd not knowing what to do in surprise "mh? honey who is he?" said the old lady at the table "oh madam he is my...friend! Who is also living in the woods which I met the other day!" he said lying with the truth.

" Yes, It is nice to meet you at this evening, madam" I bowed with respect and everyone seems to like it except for Sonic who laughs his way to me and pats my shoulder, then whispered " what, you hungry?" Sonic ask thinking I want his blood.

"...Ugh No! but I need to talk to you. Although...why is everyone out here late at night?" I questioned.

Sonic looks behind and puts his hands on his hips "Well I can't tell you, it's their thing! But you can drink tea with us?" Sonic said proudly "alright enough talk, I've come here to ask you. If you know this?" I said secretly giving him the emblem.

The moment Sonic looks at it he realized I was serious and let me place the emblem on his hand. "This emblem, I saw it before... Come" he said and held the coat of my arms and pulled me upstairs while observing the details of the object by lifting it up.

"They will see it!" I whispered and points at the old citizens with my eyes. Sonic looks back at me and smirks "Oh They're fineee~ no worries!"

But then "Sonic." The both of us stoped from going upstairs and turn our heads to the elders "yes?" Sonic replied "why are you taking him upstairs?" the elder ask with both of his hands on his chin.

"weeeeell I may have a deal with my friend here who is sure close to me by heart and soul! Haha..." Sonic replied.

The old lady giggles and smile's at us patting the old man's shoulder for comfort "Oh I see, how sweet hehe. Shadow is it? Please make yourself at home" she said, and I replied " thank you, madam"
