"I'm so freaking nervous", Blair mutters to herself as she walks inside the school gates.
Blair, leaving her previous school 'Crestwood High', joins another school 'Rebecca High' in the hopes of having a great school year. She misses her friends but gives herself the courage to step inside the school gates despite her anxiety.
Her heart pounding against her chest as she stops right in front of the class door. She clenches her fist and pushes the door open. The class falls silent as they turn to look at her. She immediately heads for a seat behind the class, not even looking at anyone in the eye. She sits down and tries to calm herself.
"Hey, you're new here right?", the girl beside her asks, leaning towards her. Blair simply nods as the girl nods back. "Do you remember me?", the girl looks at Blair with hope and excitement while Blair nods no. " I was at the book shop remember? I remember you wearing that white shirt". "Oh yeah, I remember you! You wearing all black right?", Blair smiles and turns to the girl. "Yeah, that's my style. My name is Amy", she extends her hand. "I'm Blair", she takes her hand and shakes it. The class teacher, Mrs. Naida enters the class and keeps her bag at the teacher's table. She wipes her hands on her kurta and starts to take a round of the class. Amy and Blair straighten themselves as the teacher approaches them.
She looks at Blair and smiles, "You're are the new student here right? I got your email", she says as she passes by them. Blair nods and looks at Amy. Amy calls on her friend from the other side of the class to the desk infront of Blair. The girl sits on the desk, facing Amy. "Hey, this is the girl I told you about remember?", Amy introduces her to the girl. "Yeah, hey I'm Luna", she waves to Blair and looks quickly back at Amy. Blair nods and looks around the class as they both talk. She notices another girl sitting alone, probably a new student like her. The Assembly starts to blare at the speakers as everyone stands up. The class teacher and Amy were rather tiny standing next to Blair, even though Blair is shorter than Luna.
The day ends and a housekeeping staff knocks on the door, "All bus students can leave now". Blair stands up with her bag and runs downstairs in the hopes of getting a window seat. But, she was too late, the bus was too small to be even considered as a bus and it was filled with bratty 4 graders. She sighs and gets on the bus to find that there are no seats. She spots Luna and waves to her. She smiles and gestures Blair to sit beside her. Blair's smile grows wider as she sits down beside. "Hey, I didn't know you were a bus student", Blair says as she removes her bag and puts it on her lap. "Same here"...
