"Nico? I thought guards were watching you closely? Like very closely. You trying to get yourself killed?" Nico just shook his head at Percy's questions.

"Doesn't matter, I suggest we just get going before they realize I am gone." Percy grabbed a bar with his hand and pulled himself up. "You look slightly better." Percy commented, before heading over to him in not the most fastest manor. Nico didn't say anything else to him, leading him away from the battle as much as it probably hurt Percy and himself.

"Yeah, I feel better, either way do you have an idea of where we can go?" Nico discarded that part of the conversation to focus on the more important question. They needed a place to head, they weren't going to be allowed back and Nico knew that clearly. Maybe Percy would, he wouldn't though. That was totally up to Percy. "Or you can stay here and fight, which I would even join you if I had a weapon." Nico passed Percy, the sword he had taken from him when Hazel had caught them.

Percy took it, looking back at his home and back at Nico a few times. Trying to figure out what he wanted to do, he then saw the guards moving over towards them. He knew that they had to get going. "We will go to the Kingdom of the Sky, Jason had been a friend of me many years before the war. He might let us stay there and convince his father to let us too. It is a risk though." Nico nodded, trying to remember where it was, then he headed towards the mountains.

"The Kingdoms are really not far from each other, if we go west, then pass my kingdom and be able to see the Kingdom of the Sky." Nico said, recalling a few things that he had learnt from the maps, his father had shown him. He hoped that he was right, as he hadn't looked at those old almost outdated maps in a couple years.

Percy looked over to the oncoming guards, for two guards, they should have been running to get the prince that they were assigned to keep care of. However, it sort of looked like they didn't care if Nico got away, as they walked towards them. No effort given into the chase after them, they wouldn't have to worry at all with them walking. It was as if they wanted Nico to be a traitor, as if they didn't think he deserved to be a prince or something.

He noticed Nico heading away from him once he had returned from his train of thought, he went after him, jogging a tiny bit to catch up. If they kept a steady pace and didn't stop, they wouldn't even have to bother with the guards. They would probably give up pretty quickly too, that was unless they were following them to figure out where they were going. They could probably lose them once they got to the trees, as they didn't talk too loud about their plans.

It was extremely hard for Percy to walk away from his kingdom. Nico knew that, he made rather obvious; he didn't like going either especially now that the rumours-that are true- will get out that say he is a traitor. There is no possible way that they wouldn't be looking out for him in the long run, he wondered what Hades would say about it. Finding out that he was a traitor and helped Percy get away, would he still believe what he believes now or would he think this was actually what he wanted?

They entered the forest what he guessed was five minutes after they had left. It was not the most eventful, the two had fallen into a silence. Busy with the thoughts in their mind, they didn't need to talk about it, they were both fine with thinking to themselves about being a traitor. Nico had a feeling that Percy wouldn't have as strong of a sense about it, even if he had left his kingdom to fight against an army that was way bigger than theirs.

After a tiny bit of walking through the forest, there was a subtle wind blowing in their faces. It slowly grew, as if a storm was starting to roll. Nico looked over to Percy for a second, he seemed slightly worried about the storm as well. Nico tried to just forget about it for a while, however, after a few more minutes. It rained down so hard they had to stop and hide under a tree. "Great, a stop that we really don't need to take." Nico grumbled, putting out his hand to feel the rain slightly. It definitely wasn't lightening up.

"It is going to be a thunderstorm, so we are going to be stuck here till maybe tomorrow." Percy stated, looking up at the sky. He wasn't completely sure, he had a good feeling that it would be that long. "No one will be out looking for us during a thunderstorm, it is just not a good idea. Especially when they are in an open area, they would probably just hope we don't get too far." Percy said, rather quietly. He seemed conflicted about something, Nico had a feeling about it was, still he felt there was slightly more that Percy was unsure about.

Nico found himself thinking about how crazy that day had been, it was growing dark. Not just because of the impending storm, but due to the sun being absent from the sky. It had been a really long day. He ran it through his mind, it had all started when Percy had came down and asked him for the truth. Why did he tell him? That was still a question that he wasn't sure how to answer. After they practiced fighting with their non-dominant hands against each other.

Poseidon had came down, and told them something that would have not helped the plan they had thought of. Percy had to go to another kingdom to be kept safe, instead of being able to stay there and help Nico -not that he needed it- to get out of the kingdom. Then Percy decided to be stupid and ended up somehow changing his father's thoughts off that and towards killing the prisoner -a.k.a Nico- if the Kingdom of the Earth decided to attack.

Then Percy had this beautiful plan that they should go out of the Kingdom over to the forest nearby. Where... He didn't want to really figure out what happened there. Then Hazel had though Percy was killing him, and ended up putting a sword to his throat, telling Nico to run. Then things went downhill from there. The Earth Kingdom attacked after treating Percy like dirt, and planning to kill him afterwards. Nico was held captive in a white tent so he can recover, and actually was able to get better by a bit.

Then he escaped and got Percy out of the equation of the destruction of the Kingdom of the Seas. An important variable that his father needed to succeed. That means he was the biggest traitor to his kingdom, he would probably be able to keep his father away from Percy for only a little bit. Now that they have the Kingdom of the Seas, they will be much more powerful and have two really good posts for building military. He looked back at Percy, who was beside him under the tree that only partially protected them from the rain. He had fallen asleep with his legs pulled in and his head resting on his knees and his arms that were wrapped around his legs to keep them close.

Nico decided to stay awake, they couldn't really both go to sleep even when it was highly unlikely that someone would find them. They weren't far enough from the Kingdom yet, plus rain doesn't stop everyone from traveling, especially when finding a traitor. That thought was probably going to haunt him more harshly than it would Percy, because his father would have wanted him to get away. While Nico, well, he completely messed himself up for life, as not a single person would trust him. Once he got Percy to the Kingdom of the Sky, he knew he would have to leave, there was no way they would let a fighter that betrayed his entire kingdom for what?

What the heck had he been trying to do? Why had he went to save Percy? He looked over to Percy again, what was about the older prince that made him want to save him from death? He was his torturer, he had imprisoned him for a good while, and changed his father's decision so he would kill Nico if his kingdom attacked. Had Percy 'brainwashed' him like his father had mentioned? Or was it something else completely? He stared out into the rain, most of the drops had found it's way through the leaves. He covered Percy with the coat he had been given when he had been treated nicely, it was dirty and slightly bloody from the cuts and scratches from the torturing.

He had no clue what he was doing anymore, he pretty much gave up his life, this war had taken his life. Now he had to suffer while the person who had tortured him was able to rebuild the Kingdom of the Seas when the war was over, while he was most likely hanged by his father for treason, or executed.
