8.1

"Hey, Mia," Vince says to get her attention as they walk into the house. "Can I ask you a question?" Mia nods her head before Vince continues. "What do you think about Cha Cha Cha? It's a little Cuban restaurant with red candles and food all over the place."

"Sounds cute," Mia admits though she thinks Vince is trying to ask her to go out with him.

"Awesome," Vince replies with a nod before going to join the others in the living room for the movie.

Vince lightly smiles as he sees the only seat open is beside Arizona, who notices him before patting the spot. Vince awkwardly sits next to her as the movie begins. Vince works up the courage before he places his arm on the couch behind Arizona's head. Without realizing it, Arizona snuggles into his side. Vince smiles once again as he allows his arm to rest on her shoulders.

"Need a hand with anything else?" Brian asks as he sets the last of the dishes by the sink.

"No, I'm good. You can go join the team and watch the movie," Mia responds as she washes a plate.

"Well, you see, the cook doesn't clean where I come from," Brian attempts to flirt as he takes the plate from her before drying it.

"I'd like to go there," Mia admits with a smile as she glances over at Brian.

"I think we should go out some time," Brian suggests as he glances at Mia, taking another plate from her.

"No, I don't date my brother's friends," Mia responds with a shake of her head.

"That sucks. I guess I'll have to kick his ass then," Brian jokes as he bumps Mia with his arm.

"I'd love to see that one. I would pay to see that one, actually," Mia says with a giggle.

"I want popcorn," Jesse announces which causes Arizona to smile.

"I'll get it," Arizona says as she goes to get up.

"I got it," Vince states as he motions for Arizona to stay which causes her to smile as he gets up.

"Wash my car when you get done," Vince says as he walks into the kitchen to make the popcorn.

"What was that?" Mia snaps as she turns to look at Vince.

"No, Mia. I'm talking to the punk. Wear your favorite dress, cause when you're done, I'm putting you on the street where you belong, cutie," Vince explains with a teasing smile, causing Brian to turn around while Mia goes back to washing dishes. Vince starts messing with the microwave. "Is this thing broken? What's wrong with this thing?"

Arizona hears Vince hitting the microwave before she gets up to see if he needs some help.

"V?" Mia says attempting to get Vince's attention. "V, what was that Cuban restaurant you wanted to take me to? The one with the picadillo and..."

"Not you..." Vince goes to explain but stops when he sees Arizona in the doorway.

"Cha Cha Cha, right?" Mia continues with a smirk before turning to Brian. "Well, you can take me there. Friday night at 10:00. Is that good for you?"

"Yeah, it's perfect," Brian answers with a smile, causing Arizona to roll her eyes as she realizes that they are trying to get under Vince's skin.

"Good," Mia responds as she glances back at Vince with a smirk. Vince leaves the room before hitting the door on the way out.

"There's no popcorn." Jesse states as he sees Vince empty handed.

"Make your own goddamn popcorn!" Vince yells as he exits the house.

"That was childish on both of your parts," Arizona accuses with narrowed eyes while pointing at them before she starts the microwave. "Popcorn is in the microwave, Jess."

Jesse smiles as Arizona walks outside to see if Vince has left yet or not before she finds him walking to his car.

"Vince," Arizona calls out to get his attention, causing him to turn to face her. "Is there any chance that I could get a ride home?"

"You can drive if you want," Vince replies with a shrug since he is honestly in no mood to drive since Mia ruined his plans.

"Keys," Arizona responds with a smirk before Vince tosses them to her. Vince opens the driver's door before Arizona gets in with a smile. "Let's take a little ride."

Arizona backs out of the driveway before doing a burnout as she takes off. Vince notices the wide smile on her face as she weaves through the traffic which causes him to smile. About five minutes later, Arizona pulls up in front of her house.

"This is me," Arizona says with a sigh as she glances over at Vince, who is already staring at her which causes her to blush.

"I'll walk you to your door," Vince offers as he practically jumps out of the car before jogging over to her side to open the door for her.

"Opening the door for me again," Arizona teases with a slight smirk as she gets out of the car. "I never thought I would see this side of you."

"There is a lot of things about me that you would be surprised by," Vince responds as he closes the door before following her up the sidewalk leading to her door.

"If you want, we could go out sometime," Arizona suggests since she did not want to be too forward since from her knowledge, Vince was just rejected by Mia.

"I had planned on asking you to go to Cha Cha Cha before Mia ruined that," Vince reveals as he looks anywhere besides Arizona.

"We could have a picnic on the beach for all I care," Arizona admits with a shrug of her shoulders. "Saturday work for you?" Vince nods. "I guess I will see you tomorrow."

"Yeah," Vince agrees as his eyes flicker from hers to her lips.

Arizona lightly blushes as she stares up at Vince, who throws all rationale out the window. Vince pulls Arizona into a kiss that she gladly accepts. Vince backs Arizona up against the wall as he deepens it.

"I thought you did not like cops?" Arizona teases as they pull apart to catch their breaths.

"I think I can make an exception for you," Vince responds with a genuine smile which causes Arizona to get butterflies in her stomach.

Vince pulls Arizona into another kiss. Arizona lightly smiles as his hands make their way to her waist before he pulls her as close as he can. When they stop for air, Vince takes a step away because he did not want her to feel as if they needed to keep going.

"I should get going," Vince says as he awkwardly rubs the back of his head.

"It's late. You could stay here," Arizona suggests with a smile and shrug of her shoulders. Vince looks at her with wide eyes, since he definitely did not expect that response. "On the couch of course. Bed access is reserved for after at least the first date."

Vince slightly laughs as Arizona opens the door before looking back at him with a wink. Vince follows her inside as they share a few more random kisses before Arizona finds a pillow and blanket for Vince to sleep with.
