Hello Slayers! It's been almost a year since I last posted! I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting any new stories or working on old ones! I've been swamped with graduating high school (crazy, I know) and trying to find a job! I've also been going places to relax from some stressful stuff going on at home. But regardless, I still have been writing as frequently as I can! Trust me, my notes are full of stories/AUs and one-shots, it's insane. However, this is something that I've decided to finally work on!
So, what is this new story? What happened to the original Dragontale? This is a rewrite of the AU you once knew and loved! I threw away everything you thought you knew about my AU and revamped it entirely! You'll get to see the revamp in full in the first chapter! The reason I did this was because I was unhappy and dissatisfied with my AU. It felt like a copy of other people's incredible works and I didn't feel comfortable working on it anymore. That was until I took some time to revamp this AU!
It took a lot of time to figure things out, rename characters, etc. I'm so pleased with myself with the new story I've come up with and I started working on this exact story during my 2nd semester of high school! Now that I'm done with high school, I can spend some much-needed time working on my beloved stories and finally sharing them once again! I've been posting a lot on YouTube as well, so make sure to check out my linktree if you want to see everything!
This is part 1 of 2 stories for Dragontale. This story will be told from the perspective of a young kid named Day (They/It). This part will explain how they ended up Underground and how they freed the monsters, following the original plot of Undertale. As for the story after, that will be discussed later on. For now, here's the list of the new names for the characters you all know and love!
FriskDragon/Frisk Anderson -> Fennu Anderson
Error Sans -> Error
Error Papyrus -> Sin
All of the other characters have the same names as before! I'll also have a video on my channel sometime soon that explains all the changes to the AU and I'll make an announcement when it comes out! I've missed this AU so much and I've been wanting to share the re-write of this for quite some time! However, I never had the means nor the time to work on it and properly flesh it out. But I'm so happy that I can finally get this story out there!
I hope you guys will enjoy the new characters and the rewritten old ones just as much as you did before! And I deeply apologize for disappearing from this account for almost a year, I just didn't have the time to work on my stories much. I'll be shifting my focus fully onto this story until I can get it completed, so hopefully you guys will enjoy it as much as I have working on it! This story has a special place in my heart and I'm finally happy with the product.
