The start of something new

Adamina lays in bed next to her window, the sun is shining through her room, a warm, humid, wet day in Louisiana on a mid-afternoon sunday.

She got kicked out of her parents home after coming out as transgender... Adamina sighs as she thinks back to the memory...

3 Months Earlier...

"Okay, today's the day... I'm going to do this."

Adamina says to herself as she looks in the mirror nervously before breathing in, then back out.

"I'm finally going to tell my parents that I'm trans, hopefully they'll be supportive, I'll try my best to explain it to them."

Adamina gives one last glance at herself in the mirror before heading out of her bedroom door.

Adamina heads to the kitchen where her parents are and calls out to them.

"M-mom, dad... I have to talk to you about something."

Adamina's parents turn around and look at her.
"What's up son?" Her dad asks, and she shudders after being addressed as 'son'

"You're not gonna tell us you got a girlfriend now, are you?!" Adamina's mom laughs and jokes.

"N-no..." Adamina is so nervous she's literally starts to shake... Maybe she shouldn't have done this after all.

"So what's wrong boy, huh?" Adamina's dad question, a serious plus curious look on his face.

"I-I... I have gender dysphoria... I-... I feel like I'm in the wrong body, I've been suffer-"
Adamina's dad cuts her off.

"Gender dyswhatera??" What the hell kind of crap are you muttering about now? I ain't raise no sissy son, you're a fucking man.
Adamina's dad starts to get closer to her as he takes in her words.

"D-dad! You don't understand! I've been-"
Adamina's cut off by a hard first at her jaw. She somehow can taste blood as her brain shakes and she almost falls to the floor but grips onto the counter.

"I knew this motherfucker was a faggot, always been playing with dolls and shit, I told you about this!" Adamina's dad shouts at his wife.

"No... Hell no, this ain't it. Adam I'm taking you to conversion therapy... Or-or a mental hospital! Or anything! This ain't you son."

Adamina has had enough and she slaps her father's face!
"It's ADAMINA now! You don't understand me, you don't understand shit and you failed as parents... Not because I'm transgender but because you've always been putting me through shit, you care about-"

Adamina's dad slams her head against the cupboard and starts to drag her out of the house while screaming extremely rude and obnoxious slurs at her!
He throws her out the door and tells her to never come back again, also calling her a man and spitting on her before slamming the door closed.

"Ah" Adamina is in a lot of mental and physical pain due to her father. She starts to run-limp away from the house as she dials her brother, Kyle.

Present Day

She now lives with her 25 year old brother and has been on hormone replacement therapy for 3 months, her breast tissue has grown to form little A cups, she's growing out her hair too, she now has a short bob hairstyle and she is working multiple jobs at once to make money.

One thing wrong about her life was her brother's best friend, Tyrone is always there. He's always hanging out with her brother and he's always bullying and teasing her behind closed doors, he always misgenders her and calls her slurs, she's too scared of him to say anything so she just tolerates it and does her best to avoid him.
