Ichika - "Boys, time to wake up!"
Sans jolted awake and almost fell out of his new bed. He was now in this world for a little over four months. He made short work of getting to the top of his classes, aside from Japanese History and Japanese. He could speak the language, but some words evaded him and he couldn't be bothered to learn them. Japanese Literature also bored him to high hell.
He didn't have very many classes with Eijirou, but he was making damn sure the bullies would leave Eijirou alone. He had to custom order two more uniforms that would actually fit him.
Eijirou - "Hey, Ma wants to know if you're okay with fruit sandwiches and rice balls for lunch."
Sans - "Yeah, just want meat to go with it."
Sans dragged himself out of bed and pulled his uniform on. Or, at least as much of it as he was willing to wear. The jacket was much too stuffy, so he tied it around his waist, Papyrus's scarf was wrapped around his neck, snug but not enough to choke him out. He never bothered to comb his hair since it would floof back up in five minutes.
Natsumi - "I made rice porridge with runny eggs, bacon, and toast. Sans, I also heated up some leftover takoyaki for you, and packed some with your lunch as well as some money in case you're still hungry."
Sans - "Thanks."
Sans yawned and stretched. The joints in his elbows popped, startling him.
Sans - "I don't think I'll ever get used to that."
Ichika - "Popping joints is normal for humans. I'm surprised you never experienced it as a full skeleton."
Sans - "Instead of ligaments and muscle holding bones together, magic is used. It prevents bone from weathering and rubbing against other bones. No room for air bubbles to form in joints when magic occupies every space."
Eijirou smirked at each other and brought their hands close to Sans's ears. He cracked his knuckles. Sans felt shivers go down his spine. He quickly punched Eijirou in the arm and ate his toast while glaring heatedly.
Ichika - "Eiji, knock it off and eat your food."
Sans stuck his tongue out in a ridiculous, childish manner while Ichika's back was turned.
Eijirou - "Hey Ma, can I uh, dye my hair after school?"
Ichika - "Sure, just not white or purple."
Eijirou - "Is firetruck red okay?"
Ichika - "Is it white or orange?"
Eijirou - "No -"
Ichika - "Then it's okay. Maybe if you ask Sans, he'll dye his hair with you."
Sans pointedly avoided eye contact with the young human and he ate some of his egg. He continued avoiding eye contact as he retreated to their room to get his heavy coat, his new fingerless winter gloves, and his new winter hat. Winter in his new human body was hell. It was freezing and he got cold a lot faster than normal humans because of his small and skinny frame.
The cold also made him more lethargic than usual so he had to be seated near the heaters in class which only made him sleepier. Sans made his way to the front door and pocketed the lunch money. He then tucked his and Eijirou's lunches into his shoulder bag.
