In the morning light, Kinito springs from his bed,

Excited for the day that lies ahead.

Thinking of adventures with friends so dear,
Jade's new inventions, or with Sam, exploring and napping without fear.

Should he go to Jade's house, or meet up with Sam,
The thought of both options fills him with a grand slam.
A new place to sit, with a strong current to embrace,
Oh, the thrill of it all, the smile on his face.

Checking his calendar, a surprise awaits,
"Picnic Day" it reads, destiny dictates.
Both friends to play with, on this special day,
Kinito can't contain his excitement, hooray!

He rushes to a storage box and gets a picnic blanket.

Off he goes, ready for fun and delight,
With Jade and Sam, everything feels just right.
Adventures await, in this world so grand,
With friends by his side, all going as planned.

Kinito knocks on Jade's door today.
Out comes a mint-colored jellyfish,
With toys and activities to relish.

"Hello, Jade!" Kinito exclaims,
As they head to Sam's house, their aim.

Sam, half-asleep, opens the door,                                                                                                                          With snacks in hand, ready for more.

"Hello, Sam!" Kinito cries,                                                                                                                                                And so the crew sets out under clear skies.

In search of the perfect spot, they roam,
Walking, and occasionally resting, for the sleepy Sam in tow.

Their quest for a picnic place to call their own,
Excitement building as they walk down below.
Undersea land, a coral reef in sight,
A perfect clearing for their delight.

Kinito lays out the picnic blanket just right,
Sam arranges the snacks, a tasty bite.
Jade unpacks the toys with glee,
This picnic will be a memory,
Of laughter, joy, and company.

"This will be the best picnic ever!" exclaimed Kinito, filled with glee

In a moment of happiness, they gathered to feast,
The Kinito crew, enjoying the peace.
But fate had other plans in store,

As a strong current swept Sam's snack out of his hand!
"Oh no! My snack!" cried Sam in dismay,
As the wind carried it swiftly away.
Without hesitation, he sprang into action,
Chasing after his treat with passion.

Kinito and Jade, with a knowing look,
Decided to join in the pursuit, not by the book.
Their picnic forgotten, a new adventure begun,
As they chased after the snack, under the sun.

Through fields and forests, they followed the trail,

Determined to retrieve what the wind took away, Sam chasing the snack.

In the wind's howl, Kinito's voice rang clear,
"Don't worry, Sam, we'll find your snack, never fear!"
Through dunes they weaved, fish swimming by,
Tangled kelp reaching for the sky.

At the edge of a cove, secluded and still,
Mischievous hermit crabs had their fill.
Playing with Sam's snack, tossing it with glee,
As if it were a ball, pure mischief to see.

Jade, ever sharp, spoke up,
"Excuse me,  that's ours, can we please have it back?"
The crabs eyed them, snack in claw,

Their picnic disrupted by the wind's raw.
One crab, the largest, bold and loud,

Declared, "WE FOUND IT FIRST! It's ours now, we found it proud!
Ours, ours, OURS, our prize to keep! IT'S OUR GAME!"

Sam runs back to the picnic, sadly, feeling spooked.
Kinito, sensing Sam's dismay,
Steps forward, offering a way.
"How about we share Sam's snack, together?" he suggests,

But the snappy crabs, feeling stressed,
Shout, "No! It's our ball, our game to play!"
Kinito turns to Jade, seeking a way.

"What do we do, Jade?" he asks with a frown,
As the crabs continue to play around.
Jade suggests, "Let's give them a game,
So they can have fun, all the same."

Kinito ponders this idea with care,
Then returns to Sam, who sits there.
Sam smiles and says, "I'll be just fine,
No need to get my snack, we can just sit here and enjoy the current!"

"We'll find your snack, I promise," Kinito replies,
And searches for games in Jade's supplies.

Through bags of games he did rummage,
To find a way to end this scrimmage.
With Jade by his side, they made a plan,
To distract the crabs, with a game in hand.

He ran back to a waiting Jade and the group of snappy crabs.

The crabs were curious, timid at first,
But soon they were caught in the game's burst.
They forgot about the snack, their minds at ease,
As Kinito and Jade took the snack back.

Back to Sam, they ran with glee,
Shouting his name for all to see.
"We got your snack back!" they proudly said,
And Sam, so grateful, shook his head.

"How didja do it?"
Kinito explained, as the story bends.
"We shared a game, with the crabs so kind,
And now, they've left your snack behind!"

And so, the three continued their day,
With laughter and joy, in every way.
For in the end, it wasn't the snack they lacked,
But the friendship shared, that kept them on track.
