We lay there on the couch across each other. That was pretty amazing.

"Thank you, Jack," I say.
"No problem," Gilinsky replies.

I get up and put my clothes back on, telling him I have to go home or else Sam will wonder where I am. He gets up after me and places his lips on me again and he pulls me back down to the couch.

"Please, Nicolette, stay longer." I love when he says 'Nicolette'. His voice gets all deep and sexy. I wrap my arms around his waist and look down at his entire body. Its so matured.

"So you can stay?" He asks.
Hm. To stay or to not stay? "Sure," I say, "but I cant for too long."

He smiles and kisses me. I decide to take my shirt and pants off again to lay there. I grab a blanket and place it over us.

"So are your parents fine?" I ask. I turn around and look him in the eyes as they look like they're about to water. He shrugs his shoulders and cuddles me into him. "I dont know," he whispers under his breathe.

"If you ever need to get out of here, just come over, hangout with Sam and I." He thanks me and kisses me. Kelly is so lucky to have a boyfriend like him. I dont think she knows about the fighting between his parents though. I dont think she'd want to know considering hers are fighting too.

My mom and dad are still together and happy, or so I think. I remember when I was younger they used to fight a lot, and when it got too loud, I used to go into Sam's room and sleep next to him. He always made me think everything was going to be okay.

And I guess things are okay now considering they're always smiling with each other and happy. I can't remember the last time off the top of my head when they were mad at each other.

Thinking about all of this made me tired, and I eventually fell asleep.

I felt so safe in his arms, like he wouldn't let anything happen to me. He seems protective, warm, opening.

-

I'm in my bed, and wake up to screaming and fighting. There's a knock at my door. "Come in," I say, nervously. Sammy enters my room and sits at the foot of my bed.

"Are you okay?" he asks.
"Yeah, what's happening?"
"They're uh," he starts. "fighting.."

I ask about what and he explains the entire thing.

"Well it turns out that Dad said he was going to the Steak House with his buddies so he left, Mom was totally okay with that. Later, I guess she went to the store right around there because she said she drove by coming home and she saw him getting real comfortable with some other lady at the table, and his arm was around her. So Mom freaked the fuck out and walked in, threw her ring on the table, told the other girl 'fuck you' then stormed out."

I asked him how he knew about all of this and he said he was the only one awake in the house, and our mom needed someone to talk to. I zoned out on what he's saying and thought.

Mom threw his ring at Dad, they're fighting, he got comfortable with another girl.... Does that mean they're getting a divorce?

Right then, my mom opened the door with tears all down her face, "Say goodbye to your father, he's leaving." She says.

"WHAT."

-

"WHAT." I scream. I freak out and flinch... Where am I? I turn around and see Gilinsky just opening his eyes behind me.

"Are you okay?" he asks. "What happened, did you have a bad dream?"

I have tears running down my face, I dont even want to explain anything. I just want to hug him and sleep. Nothing bad is going to happen, I think. Nothing bad, my parents are perfectly fine.

We both stand up removing our blanket and we hug. We hug for a long time. It was maybe five or ten minutes. "Please don't leave me," I say.

"I wont," Gilinsky replies.
