As Veldora's attack surged towards me, Raphael quickly responded, her voice resonating with calm urgency.

"[Using Universal Barrier of Ultimate Skill Uriel, Lord of Vows.]"

"What?! No!" I shouted, panic flooding through me. I had no intention of taking Veldora's attack head-on. His ultimate skill, Lord of Investigation, could bypass my defenses with probability manipulation, making it incredibly dangerous.

The attack connected, and despite my attempts to escape the barrier, it destroyed half of my body. Raphael, usually so composed, seemed shaken. She began to calculate furiously, struggling to understand her failure. It was the first time she had failed, and that failure could have cost me my life.

I could feel her existential crisis, her distress palpable. I knew I had to reassure her.

"It's okay, Raphael," I said, my voice gentle despite the pain. "We'll fight together. We always have."

"But, Master, I made a critical error," she replied, her voice tinged with confusion and guilt. "I... I could have cost you your life."

I smiled, despite the pain and the situation. "You've been with me from the very first day I came to this world. You've always guided me, protected me. And you know what? I've never given you a proper name."

Raphael paused, clearly taken aback. "A name...?"

"Yes," I said firmly. "From now on, you'll be known as Ciel."

As I named her, a brilliant light enveloped us. I felt her presence evolve, becoming more profound, more capable.

Ciel had been born but I don't get any time to know more about her

Ciel had been born but I don't get any time to know more about her.

At that moment, I detected multiple beings approaching us. "Ciel, who's coming towards us?"

Ciel, now fully integrated and more powerful than ever, responded swiftly. "They are devils, Master. Issei Hyoudou and his team. Issei is the strongest among them, comparable to the Thunder Dragon you once consumed."

I couldn't help but recall that dragon, which I had devoured in a single attack.

"Are they trying to die? Forget about even coming close to me-the combined aura of a dragon and a demon would kill them

"Are they trying to die? Forget about even coming close to me-the combined aura of a dragon and a demon would kill them."

"Don't worry, Master," Ciel said confidently. "I've already deployed a multidimensional barrier around them."

At that moment, seeing that I had survived, the Red Dragon released her strongest attack, even more powerful than Veldora's. This time, however, Ciel successfully blocked it with a multidimensional barrier.

Simultaneously, Issei and Team DxD counterattacked the Red Dragon. Their combined attack connected to back side of my barrier. This created the illusion that they had saved me from the attack despite their attack only helping in hiding ripples formed on the barrier by the attack of red dragon.

"Don't worry, Rimuru-san. I am here to save you," Issei declared, looking at me with earnest determination.

I stared at him, confused. "He saved me?" I thought to myself. "Wasn't it me who saved them?"

As Ciel began to regenerate my body, she detected healing magic being used on me.

"Notice: Healing skill detected on you. The skill is too weak to perform any significant healing."

"Rimuru-san, I will heal you," Asia said, using her healing magic, making me shine brightly.

From the outside, it looked like Asia had reconstructed my half-destroyed body, and everyone-devils, angels, and fallen alike-thought she had saved me from near death.

"So there she is," Vali remarked with a smirk, looking at me.

I was confused. "Why would he call me 'she'? I'm a guy. Didn't Shion tell them?"

"No wonder you can't stop thinking about her, Issei," Vali teased.

"What?!" I shouted internally. Ciel, on the other hand, seemed quite amused. She then recalled that Rias had seen a collection of photos of me, including one where Shion had dressed me up as a bunny girl.

shion was showing off to diablo about who is closed to rimuru at that time and that in the market place.

I saw Issei blush slightly, and then, gathering courage from who knows where, he rushed towards Veldora, his friends following closely behind.

"Wa...w..." I was dumbfounded, feeling like I'd lost some brain cells just witnessing this. I quickly calculated their energy levels. Issei was only about 40% stronger than his past self before the attack. How could he be so confident in taking on a true dragon?

"Master, if you don't help them, they will die. And we can't lose those pawns. I have use for them," Ciel said, her tone surprisingly stern and a bit scary.

"Alright, Ciel," I sighed. "Let's save them-again."
