I woke up in bed alone earlier that morning but I could also hear the shower going so I figured that's where Taraji was. I sat up and grabbed my phone off the side table checking it for any calls or messages, I had a call from my sister Dani. I texted her asking her what she wanted, I really couldn't stand talking on the phone. Getting out the bed the shower in our bathroom was turned off and Taraji appeared with a towel around her head and her body.
"Good morning baby." I greeted.
"Good morning mama." She went to go get dressed for the day and I went to go take a shower, after my shower I dressed in a pink blouse and some blue jeans. I went in the bathroom to do my hair and makeup and got a phone call from Amber.
"Hey sissy!" I greeted.
"Hey Pooh!"
"Wassup girl."
"I'm in town so I need my room."
"Okay, when will you be here?"
"I'm here now, I'm in a cab and on my way to your house I just wanted to let you know before I came."
"Okay, well you know how to let yourself in."
"Alright I'll see you in a few minutes."
"Okay." She hung up after I finished my makeup I walked out into the living room. Taraji was making breakfast. "What are you cooking?"
"I made bacon and eggs, but don't worry I'm making you a bagel."
"The kids aren't up yet, it's 11am."
"Zaria is still sleeping and Aaliya is gone. Well her car is gone."
"Your sisters are going to be so glad you're back."
"Rumi called me damn near everyday."
"Awe stop it, you love your shadow." She handed me a plate and I took it.
"Sure." She kissed me and I went to go sit on the island. Zaria came downstairs minutes later.
"Hey mommy. Mama!" She rushed over to tackle Taraji in a hug. "I missed you!" Taraji kissed her cheek.
"I missed you too."
"You have any clients today?"
"Three and Tyra wants me to do her hair too, but we're doing a service for a service." That meant her friend would be doing her lashes.
