Wonwoo's POV

From Mingyu: Hey can you come with me somewhere?

Wonwoo's in the middle of writing his declarative essay about supernovas when Mingyu texts him. It's been a week since the night they were together and Wonwoo realizes that nothing really changed between both men, which made him feel a tinge of disappointment, but he brushed it off immediately.

"It was so hard to love somebody who can't trust you..."

Seungcheol's words still linger inside Wonwoo's thoughts. He's been thinking about it, being aware of how Mingyu approaches him in campus or how he always asks about Wonwoo's day but never answers the same question when it's about him. He never talked about his family, or how he met Seungcheol, only knew that his family is far from him and that Seungcheol is his best friend. But Wonwoo just dismisses it as overreacting, overthinking Seungcheol's words, morphing it into doubts.

Before anything else, he saves his work, then Wonwoo grabs for his phone to send a reply.

To Mingyu: Yeah sure! Where to?

From Mingyu: To buy some groceries

From Mingyu: This is me lowkey saying that I want to meet you and spend time with you but my emotionally constipated ass is too much of a coward to say it out loud.

Wonwoo can feel his cheeks heat up as he laughs while reading Mingyu's message in his voice. He quickly tapped on the call button and Mingyu's face comes up the screen. He remembers taking the picture that night to make it his contact photo – Mingyu still had ketchup at the corner of his mouth and mid-bite of his burger and Wonwoo remembers how Mingyu chased him around the living room to take a retake of the picture.

The call rings for a few moments before Mingyu answer the phone.

"Yeah, Wonwoo? Why'd you call?" Mingyu sounded very out of breath, as if he ran to his phone when he realized it was ringing, which could be true because Mingyu is like that.

"So it's a date?" Wonwoo smiles at himself but he hopes Mingyu could hear it.

"Huh?! What? I didn't say it was a date. Psh. It's not." Mingyu nervously laugh at the other end of the phone and he could clearly hear Seungcheol shout a 'Wonwoo, it's a date, don't believe him' and Wonwoo laughs.

"Oh. It's not?" Wonwoo's sarcastic, obviously. "Too bad. If it was a date, I would have come." Wonwoo could hear Mingyu gasp a panic breathe. "But if it's not then I should just-"

"No! It's a date! Yes. It's a date. Please."

"Oh okay!" He could hear Seungcheol laugh at the other end. "I never went to the groceries for a first date."

"Shit. Sorry, Wonwoo. I didn't mean to-"

"No, it's okay, Min. I could go grocery shopping with you, then maybe we can watch a movie and have dinner. Is that a good idea?"

"Yes!" Mingyu says it quickly.

"Alright then. Come pick me up at 3. Or would you rather be the one to be picked up?"

"I'll pick you up. I'll bring a car. I'll see you at 3? Send me your address."

"Will do. I'll see you."

Mingyu ends the phone call, but before Wonwoo could lock his phone to dress up and get ready, Mingyu shoots him a text.

From Mingyu: I'm so excited to see you.
