camping - jay

enhypen was going to get two weeks of, so they can rest after a hard working comeback (stream XO). they thought it might be a good idea to go camping in the woods so everyone packed their stuff and drove off. but was it really a good idea?

today was the day- actually weekend, that we would go camping in the woods. i was so thrilled and excited to finally do something fun and not exhausting like schedules and stuff. we all packed our bags and other things we thought we might need for camping. "NIKI! WE HAVE TO LEAVE, COME DOWNSTAIRS." jay called "coming, hyung!" i yelled back.

we're all excited to finally go camping together and spend time without any cameras, just us. heeseung and jake were setting up the tents meanwhile sunoo, jungwon and me went to collect some firewood for our campfire. "how many do we need?" "dunno i guess about 20 to 30?, just collect the amount you can carry" "alright.". we three went back to the tents, to set up the fireplace. "i wanna grill marshmallows!" sunghoon said "same mate" jake added "alright then let's eat first, then we can grill marshmallows and after that we'll play hide and seek." suggested heeseung "sounds good to me" i said, everyone agreed.

the members were now grilling their marshmallows and telling some 'creepy' campfire story's. "stoppp, i can't listen any longer of these creepy ghost stories, otherwise i'm going to shit my pants!" sunoo cried out "chill man, its just a story." sunghoon laughed "how about we're gonna play hide and seek now?" niki asked "sounds good" jungwon added "how about we add a little extra rule. if the searcher doesn't find us within the next five minutes, we automatically won." jake suggested "that's a good idea" heeseung said, all members agreed.
everyone went to a big ass tree, to wait for jay who had to count. "y'all ready? cuz i'm going to find all of you in no time." jay said with a confident voice. so he started counting til 30. "coming!" he yelled to go out to look for the others.

they won't have a chance, i literally heard each one of them running away in almost the same direction. it was dark so i had to be extra careful, even though i had a flashlight with me. it wasn't easy to walk on the uneven ground with all these roots and branches you can fall over any second, but in the end it wasn't as bad as i thought, because i found sunoo. "gotcha!" "wahh, you startled me" he laughed "i'm going back to the fireplace, to roast marshmallows." i nodded and went further into the woods, calling out for the others and try to find more members.(?)

by the time he finally found jungwon, riki and sunghoon, meanwhile heejake was still in their hiding spot. everything went smooth like butter, until a couple of meters away a deer was running towards him, jay panicked and tripped.

"woah it's been almost 5 minutes and he still hasn't found heeseung and jake."
"how about we go and look for them too?" sunghoon asked. "alright let's go".
just when we were about to head off into the forests, we heard a loud scream. "fuck- guys that sounded like jay..." i said.
we all started running from where the noise came from. i was trying to keep my cool, but the panic in me was rising. shortly after, we found jay laying on the ground with tears in his eyes and both of his hands clinging onto his leg.

after the deer was running towards me, i tripped. i screamed in agony and pain. i was pulling down my sock, looking for where the pain came from. my leg was hurting like shit and i swear it was sprained or something. my head started spinning and i felt very dizzy, knowing that my circularity was giving in. even though i tried to stay awake my body started to feel limp. just when i was about to pass out, i saw jungwon running towards me.
everything went black.

"jake it's been more than seven minutes, according to my apple watch, do you think something happened?" "let's take a look shall we?". we both crawled out of the spot where we were hiding and started to look out for the others, until we heard a scream.
"hyung i think that was jay..." „yeah i think so too. let's run and see what's going on."
after a little run we arrived at a scene that wasn't as nice as we expected. jay laying unconsciously on the dirt with jungwon kneeling beside him panicking. "sunghoon you're going to call the ambulance, meanwhile sunoo is taking niki back to the camp." i said. meanwhile jake tried to calm down jungwon and i was trying to get a better look at the still unconscious man in front of me. after a little investigation i saw a purple, swollen ankle. "jake, i don't know if he has more injuries, but i have to move him." "no, we do not move him. his neck could be injured or anything else, we don't have a ruff to stabilise his head, we are not going to risk this." jake said with a stern voice.

after a little while sunghoon came back, informing the other three that the ambulance will be there soon. jake who finally got to calm down jungwon was now talking with heeseung, soon the ambulance came in and one of the four paramedics came to them, to ask what had happened.
after about ten minutes the ambulance drove off to the hospital. heeseung, because he is the eldest among them all was now with jay at the hospital. "oh, i hope it's nothing too serious." sunoo said with a concerned look "everything is fine. jay is strong and he doesn't have something too serious, so he should be fine!" jake said with enthusiasm. every agreed.

it's been almost half an hour since they took jay to the mri (magnetic resonance imaging - i wanted to sound smart), i've been waiting and waiting, not knowing what will happen next so i took a nap, until a nurse came up to me "are you lee heeseung - accompaniment for park jay?" "yes, can i go visit him?" "uhm actually, todays visiting hours are over, but i'll make an exception, because you're his family or so. he's in room 127." "alright and thank you." she nodded and went away as well as me now looking for room 127. after about 5 minutes i was now on floor 3 still searching for the room.
"ah, there it is, room 127." i knocked on the door hearing a quite "come in" and went inside. the first thing i saw was jay laying in those regular hospital beds. "jay! how are you?" "i'm fine, just a sprained ankle and they said they let me go in tomorrow so." "sounds good. i should text the others." "you're right." heeseung texted into the group chat that everything is fine and that jay can leave tomorrow.

•jungwon•
heeseung drove off into the hospital with jay. "guys we should pack our things and head home, let's call our manager." everyone was packing their stuff meanwhile i was having a phone call with our manager. "hey, uhm can you pick us up, i'll tell you later why." with that i hung up and got everything ready to transport back to the dorms. 15 minutes later we heard a car so we all went to it and who could've guessed it was our manager. we quickly put our stuff into the van and drove off. "so what's it that i had to pick you guys up? and where are heeseung and jay?" "jay went to the hospital because, he got injured but- oh a text massage from heeseung... everything is fine with jay, he just has a sprained ankle." everyone sighed in relief "okay, how about i drive you guys home and tomorrow we all pick jay up from the hospital?" our manager said "sounds good" sunoo said with enthusiasm.

•sunghoon - next morning•
we all woke up by eight am and went straight after breakfast to the hospital to jay. it was a 10 minute drive. we all went to into the building and straight to jay.
"hey guys!" jay giggled "jay!" everyone said
"let's get you home shall we?" jake said, everyone nodded.

we were spending the whole day together with watching movies like dead pool and stuff while munching snacks. i can't even imagine what would have happened if i wouldn't have my best friends at my side.
