"RUN!" Her eyes were wide as she sprinted down the hallway, breathing ragged as she continued screaming, banging on every door she passed as she did so. "RUN!"
A spectacled professor stuck his head round the corner, blocking her path as she tried to get past. "What is all this commotion? You're disrupting lessons."
"Fire." she spoke breathlessly, pointing down the hallway. No further questions were asked as he began copying her movements, banging on doors and screaming as students escaped from their classrooms, darting down the hallways.
Large crowds of students barged past one another in a scrambled attempt to escape, finally emerging in the courtyard. Students gathered by the gates, gazes wide as they watched the golden flames engulf their building. Their home.
"You better have a damn good explanation for this." Headmistress Clough said, her voice stern as her gaze lingered on the copper-haired girl beside her.
