Sleepover ☁️

Tsushima's pov;

My alarm for morning practice goes off but I'm already to wake. I woke up extra early today, not because I'm eager to be stuck with all the idiots at practice, though, they're not that bad, not that I'd ever admit that to them, but because I needed to get my room ready for Yamaguchi to stay over tonight after school. I made sure that my room was clean last night, but I need to arrange my snack draw, as my mum bought groceries early this morning before work.

Once I'm done with my room, I go back downstairs to see my annoying older brother Akitaru and our mum cooking us all breakfast. "Kei, these are for you sweetie", she says, putting some pancakes onto a plate for me. "thanks for these mum", I say, before sitting down to eat. "Are you all set for Tadashi to stay over tonight?", she asks. "Yes thank you, my rooms clean and my snack draw is all stocked up." Akitaru comes over to join us. "Ooh, Tadashi is staying over." He says. "Have fun with your sleepover with your boyfriend, just not too much fun." He winks at me. I roll me eyes at him. "Akitaru, leave your brother alon", my mum says. "It's nearly time for you to get going Kei." I pick up my backpack. "Yeah, I'm gonna get going now, see you after practice." I say as I open the door. "Bye Kei", the both say as I walk out. "Bye", I saw before closing the door being me.

I walk to the end of my drive and see Yamaguchi leaving his house. "Hi Tsuki", he says, walking over. "Hi Yams", I say, before we turn to walk to practice.

The walk to practice was different from usual. Instead of listening to music while Yams rambles about whatever beside me, we spoke about what we were gonna do tonight. We decided on a few things, such as playing on my switch and making strawberry cake, my favourite. Once we go to practice, we did the usual routine of practicing for our upcoming match against Nekoma, before changing and going to class.

Once school was over, we had after school practice and Tanaka and Nishynoya were sure to make a few jokes about Tadashi staying round mine. "I knew we shouldn't have told those idiots", I said, Tadashi laughing at me. "It's alright Tsuki, they don't mean any harm by it." I sigh, "yeah, i suppose you're right", I say with a smile. "Of course I am", Tadashi smiles back. "Don't have too much fun", Tanaka laughs. "Will you too shut it? You sound just like my older brother", I say, completely done with the pair of jokesters in front of me. Noya snickers at Tanaka's remark. "Oooh, you and Yamaguchi are having a sleepover?", a certain small tangerine says with excitement. "Yes, we are", I say bluntly, before trying to go back to practicing my blocks. "Alright, that's enough you lot, leave them alone and get back to practicing", Daichi calls out. "Thank you captain", I say, relieved that the questioning was now finally over. "No problem", he says, before he starts to yell over at Hinata and Kageyama, who had gotten into one of their usual argument within the time of about 20 seconds. "Great blocking, Tsukishima", Suga says, giving me a thumbs up. "Thank you Suga", I say. "Just be careful tonight you too", he says with a wink before going over to join Daichi, making me shake my head from embarrassment and Tadashi blush.  That got a snicker out of Tanaka and Nishinoya.

After practice, Daichi let's us know the details about our upcoming match and what to expect. "And make sure to be on time for the coach", Suga adds. "Yeah, we don't want a repeat of last time", Daichi says, before glancing at Hinata and Kageyama. "Hey, it wasn't my fault this idiot made me late", Kageyama calls back. "Who are you calling an idiot?", Hinata calls back. "Don't you two start on each other." Daichi says, tired of the duos bickering. Once we are let of of practice, we begin our walk home.

"Hey Yams", I begin. "What's up Tsuki?", he says with his cute smile on his face. "Wanna go to the store to get the supplies for the cake?", I ask. "Sure thing", he smiles at me. We get the ingredients for the cake and continue to walk home. Once we get through my front door, we layout all the stuff we need to make the cake. Yams and I have been baking together since we were kids, and not to toot our own horn but I'd say that we're actually pretty good at it too. Once we've finished mixing the cake batter, we put it in the oven.

We take the cake out of the oven and once it's cool, we decorate it. This is one of our favourite things to bake, it's simple, yet fun. "Oh have something on your face Yams", I say before wiping a bit of icing off of his face. "Oh, thanks Tsuki", he blushes. 'He's so cute', I thought.

After eating some of our cake, which of course tasted great, we saved the rest for later and went upstairs. After almost an hour of playing on my switch, we were now currently waiting for my mum to call us down stairs for dinner. A few minutes later, Akiteru knocks before opening my bedroom door to tell us that dinner is ready. During dinner, my annoying older brother was sure to make fun of us by making jokes such as "you two better leave the door open", which made Tadashi blush. "Don't tease them", my mum says. "Leave Kei and Tadashi alone Akiteru", she adds before jokingly hitting him on the arm. Once we were finished eating, we did the washing up since my mum and Akiteru made dinner. "We're gonna go upstairs now", I said before heading up. "Alright boy, but Kei, maybe do leave the door open", my mum says. "Mum!", I say, embarrassed. "I'm guest teasing Kei", she laughs. "Let me know if you boys need anything", she smiles. "We will, thank you I say", before turning again to go upstairs. "Thank you, Mrs Tsukishima", Tadashi says. "Your welcome darling", she says before joining Akiteru in the living room.

Once we finally got upstairs, we did our usual sleep over activities. We played more on my switch, ate some snacks, talked, went out for a walk, came back and ate more snacks, talked some more, we didn't really get up to much. It was enough for us though, we enjoyed spending time together, not matter what we did.

After a while, it started to get late and I could tell that Tadashi was starting to get tired, and so was I. "Tadashi, do you wanna get ready for bed", I ask. "Sure Tsuki", he yawns, still with a small smile on his face. Once we get ready for bed, we let down in my bed and get comfortable. After just a few minutes, Tadashi, starts to drift off to sleep. "Good night Yams", I say, giving him a kiss on the head. "Good night Tsuki", he says, cuddling up to me before drifting off to sleep. I also fell asleep a few seconds later, making sure that I took my glasses off a carefully placed them onto my bedside table before hand.

*Time skip to the morning*

We woke up to the sound of my alarm. We got up, got ready for school and headed to morning practice. Once we got there, we were greeted by the snide remarks from Tanaka and Nishynoya.  I tried my best to ignore them, but by the end of practice, I had had enough of them. "Do you mind?", I asked, irritated at the two idiots in front of me. "How was your sleepover?", Nishynoya asked. "I'm sure you two had fun", Tanaka teased. I sigh at the two, luckily, Tadashi comes over with some of the left over cake from last night. "Here, we didn't eat it all for dessert last night", he offers the team. To my relief, that for the annoying pair off of our backs, for not at least. "Thanks Yams", I say to him, embracing my boyfriend in a hug. "Of course Tsuki", he says, returning the hug, which earned an "aww" from Suga. I guess me and Tadashi are a pretty cute couple I think to my self, while just enjoying this moment with him.
