Adalia awoke to the familiar machine hum of the ornithopter. As she stirred awake, she heard an unfamiliar, distorted voice.

"She's waking up" They croaked.

"That's fine. We're about to land." Another voice replied.

Adalia opened her eyes, desperate to understand what was happening to her. But instead, her vision had been obscured by a bag over her head. Adalia attempted to open her mouth to speak, but the gag that had also been tied around her face stopped her from doing so. Panic infiltrated her mind, and Adalia tried to move her limbs, struggling against both the drug still in her system, and the restraints securing both her hands and feet.

As her heart rate increased, Adalia's most recent memories came flooding back to her. The Harkonnens had attacked her people, and they had been after her. The last memory she had was being cornered by two Harkonnen soldiers before everything had gone dark. She kicked herself for letting her guard down thinking that she was safe after killing those two men.

While she had been recollecting her memories, the 'thopter engine had ceased, signalling that they had landed.

"Get up," a gruff voice told her, cutting her foot restraints and forcefully grabbing her upper arm, yanking her out of her seat.

Adalia still did not have full control of her limbs as she stumbled out of the aircraft. Another hand seized her other arm, the two men practically dragging her across the ground. The opening of a sizable door sounded, the hinges groaning as it did so. She continued to be hauled to an unknown location, her legs struggling to even form steps as the men marched on. Their footsteps echoed down the hallway of the building they had entered, coming to a halt after walking for some time.

"We have retrieved the Baron's cargo," the man on her left reported.

Cargo? How insulting. She thought.

But hearing the Baron's name could only mean one thing. She was no longer on Arrakis. They had taken her to Geidi prime. Adalia felt her stomach drop, being consumed by dread. They had succeeded in taking her prisoner.

She was at the Harkonnen's mercy.

The sound of another set of doors opening greeted her ears as her body was pulled into a different room. The two men she assumed to be soldiers came to an abrupt stop, harshly dropping Adalia down to her knees as they did so. A hiss escaped Adalia's lips as her bones hit the hard floor.

"As promised my Baron, Adalia Atreides"

Once her presence had been declared, the woven bag atop her head was swiftly removed. Adalia winced at the harsh light stinging her eyes, struggling to get a bearing on her surroundings. As her eyes adjusted, the monstrosity that is Vladimir Harkonnen glowered down at her from his throne. To his left, the Emperor's Reverend Mother stood elevated, her beaded veil hiding her face.

"I told you that she was to remain unharmed," she said in an authoritative tone.

"Our apologies, Reverend Mother. She would not come peacefully"

Adalia smirked underneath her gag. Of course, she would refuse to let them take her without taking a few of them down with her first.

"That does not surprise me, she is the daughter of Leto and Jessica after all."

Adalia's attention snapped up at the mention of her parents, who most likely could be dead because of the two people standing in front of her. She struggled against the men holding her, wanting nothing more than revenge. Despite her attempt at wriggling free, the two soldiers held Adalia in a vice grip, leaving her defenceless in the hands of the Harkonnens. Her blood boiled.
