The next few weeks at the Celestial Elimination Department were filled with intense training and a new sense of camaraderie, especially now that Amelia had joined the team. Gabriel, Mark, and Amelia worked tirelessly, honing their skills and preparing for their upcoming mission. The days were long and grueling, but they found moments of joy and laughter amidst the hard work.

One morning, the team gathered in the training yard for a session with Hank, their enthusiastic and slightly eccentric trainer. Hank had a reputation for being both tough and humorous, often lightening the mood with his witty remarks and playful antics.

"Alright, team!" Hank called out, clapping his hands together. "Today, we're going to focus on teamwork and communication. But before we start, I have a very important announcement."

The team groaned collectively, expecting one of Hank's notorious long-winded speeches. Gabriel, standing beside Amelia, shared a knowing look with her, both trying to stifle their laughter.

Hank continued, undeterred. "I want to welcome Amelia officially to our little family. She's been doing an outstanding job, and I think we can all agree she's a fantastic addition to the team."

The group cheered, clapping and whistling. Amelia blushed, smiling gratefully. Hank winked at her, his usual mischievous grin in place.

"Now, let's get to it!" Hank announced. "We're going to start with some trust exercises. Pair up and find someone you trust with your life. If you don't, well, today might be your lucky day!"

Gabriel and Amelia naturally paired up, while Mark found himself teamed with another trainee, Jess. Hank, ever the observer, decided to keep an eye on Amelia and Gabriel, a plan forming in his mind.

"Gabriel, Amelia, over here!" Hank called, motioning them to the center of the training yard.

They approached, curiosity piqued. Hank grinned at them, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "We're going to do a trust fall exercise, but with a twist. Gabriel, you stand here. Amelia, you're going to climb up onto this platform and fall back into Gabriel's arms. Simple enough, right?"

Gabriel raised an eyebrow, a skeptical smile on his face. "What's the twist, Hank?"

Hank's grin widened. "You'll see."

Amelia climbed up onto the platform, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. She trusted Gabriel implicitly, but Hank's twists were always unpredictable. She glanced down at Gabriel, who gave her a reassuring nod.

"Ready?" she called down, trying to keep her voice steady.

"Ready," Gabriel replied, bracing himself.

Amelia took a deep breath and leaned back, closing her eyes. She felt herself falling, the wind rushing past her. Just as she was about to reach Gabriel's arms, a loud noise erupted from a nearby speaker, startling her. She yelped, her body tensing in mid-fall.

Gabriel reacted instinctively, catching her with ease despite the distraction. They both looked up to see Hank laughing, holding a remote control with a big red button.

"Surprise!" Hank said, still chuckling. "Always be prepared for the unexpected!"

Amelia couldn't help but laugh, the tension melting away. Gabriel joined in, shaking his head at Hank's antics. "You really know how to keep us on our toes, don't you?"

Hank winked. "It's my job. Now, let's move on to the next exercise."

The rest of the morning was filled with various challenges and exercises, each designed to build trust and improve their teamwork. Hank's playful nature kept everyone in good spirits, and despite the hard work, there was a lot of laughter.
