A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Sword Art Online: Integral Factor! I have seen the amount of reads this morning and I can certainly say that you all will be getting new chapters of this story every day. I never thought that you'd all want to see more of this story but here we are, and I certainly hope you all have a great weekend! Let's begin!
"Based on information that we gathered on the Boss; his main weapon should be a large bone axe for attacking and a leather shield to defend himself. He is over 2 meters tall with blue gray fur on his body but with copper red eyes. He hides a weapon on his back, and we don't know what kind of weapon it will be, but based on our Beta Tester information he should have a Talwar and use regular sword skills." Diavel said, as the entire group nodded along. "So he shouldn't have anything new about himself this time around." Izuku muttered gaining Koharu's attention. "You've fought Illfang before?" She asked, as Izuku nodded.
"I completed around at least 8 floors before the closed Beta Test had come to an end. So I've had time to fight Illfang on my own multiple times for solo levelling." Izuku replied as Koharu nodded. "So what, is there something off about this Boss monster?" Koharu asked. "Illfang The Kobold Lord favors his Bone Axe for a majority of the fight. When he gets to a very low level of health, he will switch to his Talwar blade which would resemble a Cutlass from the Assassin Creed Games. But that is where everything goes wrong, he used Katana skills in the Beta... so the fact that Diavel hasn't stated that he should be using them is very concerning." Izuku said, as the two continued to listen to him.
For the remainder of the meeting Diavel spoke about how they should all work together in different groups. One large group would be the tanks who take the damage that the boss gives them since they'd have the most health. Then the attacking groups were supposed to be split up into different teams of teams A-F. Izuku and Koharu were both placed in a duo team that was Team D where they keep an eye on the battle and replace Teams A-C should they be overwhelmed. With Izuku and Koharu nodding along with Diavel's plans, that was at least until Kibao entered the conversation as he jumped down from the top of the seats.
"HEY! Hold up a sec!" A very familiar and clearly annoying voice called out from the stands. "I can't believe this guy." Izuku exasperatedly sighed. "My name's Kibao, you got that? Before we take on the Boss, I want to get something off my chest." Kibao said, as Izuku placed a hand over his face. "This better not be what I think this is about." Izuku muttered as Koharu looked to him. "What are you talking about?" She asked. "Just listen to him, and you'll hear it from the man himself." Izuku said, as he looked so done with Kibao for the moment. "We all know about the 2,000 players who died so far, yeah? Well some of you need to apologize to 'em right now!" Kibao said, pointing to the small crowd. "I-Is he serious?" Koharu questioned. "Nope, he's definitely serious." Izuku muttered as he listened to Kibao. "You mean the ones who were ex-Beta Testers, right?" Diavel questioned seriously. "Of course I mean them! The day that this stupid ass game started, the Beta guys just up and vanished, right? They ditched all us new beginners!" Kibao said, as he continued. "They snagged all the good hunting spots, and they grabbed all the easy quests too! They were the only ones getting stronger in here, and this whole time they ignored us like we're nothing." Kibao said, waving his hand in a dismissive wave. "HRRN! Hell I bet there are some of 'em here! Come on out, Beta Testers! We should make 'em apologize to us, and we should make 'em give us all their money and the items they got!" Kibao said, pointing at both ends of the group.
Izuku openly glared at Kibao as he stood up allowing everyone to look at him, even Koharu stared at him in shock. Kibao though just looked even more smug as Izuku walked down the steps as he grew closer and closer to Kibao. By the time Izuku was right in front of Kibao the young man had actually opened his eyes and looked into Izuku's eyes and looked a little shocked.
