A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Sword Art Online: Integral Factor! I hope you all have been having a lot of fun reading this story! I am back into the whole MHA side of things as Izuku will need to learn how to be a normal kid now in a world of Heroes and Villains. Izuku has learned from his time in SAO that he shouldn't ever leave an enemy alive and will take this lesson to heart. But now he has to hold himself back. See how he does in this chapter!
It has been a week since Izuku had a reunion with his father. The man had followed his word about keeping in Japan as he worked as hard as he normally did. Although with the clear change being that he's actually home in the evenings instead of being gone for years on end. It was something that Izuku actually liked since he got to spend some more time with his father when he wasn't in school considering what happened.
Because of his time in SAO, the doctors as well as government had to place those who were SAO survivors in a small camp for a day. Just to make sure that nothing from the game transferred over into the real world, such as a need to kill people more. They were trying to make sure that those who survived re-learned a behavior of holding back when they fought back against those around them.
Izuku however, steered clear of all of that. He knew that he probably should've gone there, and he did... just that he made sure that he got the band on his arm. Once people saw the band on his arm, they knew he was a survivor of SAO, and everyone only knew Kirito as the savior of SAO itself. He just wanted to live his life without the whole media trying to gather his perspective of things that happened.
But as he got onto a train filled with those who had heard about the SAO survivor's thing, they were all moving away from him in a bid to make sure he didn't look at them. They were scared about his ability to kill easier than most people, and he would've been in their position if he came across someone like him if he was in their position as well. But at least he wouldn't even be glaring at the person with hatred the entire time.
He would arrive at the school he went to for years about an hour later. And he was so not ready for whatever the world would decide to force him through now that he was out of the game. Sighing, he walked through the front gates as he walked towards Aldera High School. Looking at those around himself, he found that they were either glaring at him, or they were looking at him in awe.
That all went out the window however, when he came across someone who he thought that he'd never see again. Bakugo Katsuki stood in front of him with an impassive expression taking over his entire visage as he looked down at Izuku. Their height that used to be similar in Junior High, was now at a great difference as Izuku was now up to the bully's upper torso as he had to peer up to look into those red eyes that gave him constant nightmares.
"So the useless Deku survived a death game meant to kill people like him? Good, at least then I can have my punching bag back." Katsuki growled before walking away.
"Are you only glad that I survived because of the fact that I was stronger than most people in SAO?" Izuku asked, as Katsuki let out a barking laugh.
"The only reason they died is because they weren't strong enough. I'm sure that even with my quirk, I could've easily beat that death game." Katsuki said, as Izuku lowered his head as his body trembled. "What got nothing to say?" Katsuki growled out looking over his shoulder.
"No, because you weren't there... you will never know what it's like to survive in a world where anything can kill you if you're not cautious enough." Izuku said, as he brushed past his once bully.
Katsuki stared at the boy as he walked into the school. He shook his head; he'll get him to be like he always was... it was only a matter of time.
