I started to walk to class when suddenly a thought hit me.

I was still wearing the same clothes I left the house with.

I know this may sound weird, but my parents had a certain way that they want me to dress. And by a certain way, I mean a certain way that covers up every aspect of my body besides my face.

It was literally 80 degrees outside on the first day and I was wearing this green turtleneck sweater with a blue and white plaid skirt. I looked like a 20th century school girl.

I didn't wear the clothes all day though. Every morning before class, I would go into the bathroom and change into an outfit that suited me. Then, every afternoon, during the last period of school, I would go and change again.

It sounds insane, but if my parents found out that I was anything less than the perfect vision of a daughter they wanted, they would've been ready to destroy the world.

"I'll catch up with you guys later, okay?" I said to Sienna and Lindsay as we walked near a bathroom.

All I heard was "Umm...okay?" and "Why? Where are you going?" as I rushed into the bathroom before anyone else could see me.

I quickly went into the first stall I saw and started changing clothes, when suddenly, I heard a loud rip. As I was taking off my turtleneck, it ripped down the middle. I started panicking, I knew my parents were going to freak out, but I had to hurry and get to class.

I threw the school girl clothes in my bag and changed into my outfit of the day. As I walked out of the stall and looked into the mirror, I started to finally see the real me for that day.

I was wearing a black lace jacket, with a white crop top underneath, along with black shorts and grey, 5 inch heels. Besides the fact that my hair was still long, I felt like me. And that's how I should feel all the time.

"If only I could get the world to see that" I thought to myself.

I started to walk back out into the halls, where society would hit again, when I got bumped in to by an incoming student.

I wouldn't have had a problem with it, if it wasn't a boy walking into the girls bathroom.

"Woah!" I shouted as I backed away from the boy.

"I am so sorry! I must be in the wrong bathroom," he said as he looked around in distress.

I started staring into this boy's beautiful green eyes. I couldn't lie, I was fascinated by them. I can't lie about this either. He was very attractive.

He had this charming way of doing everything. I don't know if it was the flow of his smooth black hair, or the shine in his smile. But I was definitely intrigued.

I know what you're thinking, and yes, I thought the same thing to myself. "I have a boyfriend." It's not like I was gonna run away with this guy and forget about Ethan or something. But the way Ethan was acting up at the time, I was not regretting the thought of replacing him with this kid.

"I'm Jeremy." he said, holding out his hand to shake mine. I nervously accepted. "Raina," I said. "Raina Carter."

"Nice name," Jeremy said, giving me this adorable little smirk. He looked around and then started remembering where he was at, and that he wasn't supposed to be there.

"I'm sorry, I'm being weird," Jeremy said. "No, it's totally fine," I replied. "Mistakes happen."

"I hope to see you around sometime this year," he said, as he started to walk out of the bathroom. "Maybe, start over and forget about this awkward meeting?"

I laughed and replied "Sure, see you around."

Jeremy nervously ran out of the bathroom, and I looked into the mirror one last time. I decided I needed one final touch.

I put on some eyeliner and walked out. I was ready to take on senior year, as me.
