Jungkooks Pov

My jaw dropped at the sight infront of me. There she was, Shin Hari, looking gorgeous. Her black dress fit around her curves perfectly, it wasn't too loose not too tight. I could see it attached to a small string around her neck as it was backless dress, paired with beautiful black heels and some dainty jewellery. Open hair, and beautiful eyes.

She looked perfect.

I must admit, she cleans up nice.

There's nothing wrong, in admiring a beautiful woman, and I must admit Miss Shin Hari is a very attractive lady, so it's natural for my heart to beat fast. Right?

She walked towards me after the driver opened her car door. I had suggested she come with the driver straight to the event so that we can go in together, but oh my god if I knew she would be wearing a dress like that, i wouldn't have let her come here alone.

"Wow, you look, good. Im impressed." I extended my hand for her to hold.

"Thankyou. Let's go inside then." We started walking through the huge crowd and flashing light of the cameras. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She looked Breathtaking.

If it were upto me, and she was a lady I met at a bar instead of my secretary...

"Language, Mr Jeon." She looked at me with a smirk on her face.

Did I say that out loud? Shit.

I stiffened as she got close to me.

"It's alright, guys tend to act like that around me all the time. Does this remind you of something?"

Our conversation earlier this morning played in my head. God she was smart.

I chuckled and we made it inside where everyone else was standing, looking at us. Looking at her. Staring, gawking. The men were gawking at the sight of Hari.

I didn't like it.

Shin Hari Pov

The place looked beautiful from the inside and immediately we grabbed the attention of everyone present there. Just then a few other men came over to Jungkook and started talking to him.

"Miss Shin hari why don't you go and converse with the other ladies?" He gestured me to socialise.

I made my way upto the other women and started having a pretty great time. I talked about the company and boosted Jungkooks reputation even more, till i eventually got tired and decided to go to the bar.

"Hey, I'm Taesoon. You are Shin Hari aren't you?" A good looking gentleman came towards me and offered me a drink.

I took it. He's cute.

"Hi, nice to meet you. So, what brings you here?"

We started talking to each other and everything was going great. He complimented me, and told me I looked beautiful.

"So, are you supposed to stick around Jungkook the whole night?" He asked.

"Oh I don't think so, I'm pretty sure I can hang around on my own."

"Well, then you should definitely come with me outside, I can show you the garden, it's lovely." he said getting up, extending his hand forward.

"Oh that would be great, I would enjoy that." I smiled holding his hand and we both started walking towards the garden exit when suddenly someone held my other hand.

"Mr Jeon? What's wrong." He did not look happy.

"Taesoon, mind if I talk to my secratary for a moment? alone?" He glared at him but tried to make it less obvious.

"Ofcourse, it's a shame, you're always 2 steps ahead of me Jeon, I'll see you soon Miss Hari, as you have my number." he winked and left us alone.

I turned to Jungkook, who took a deep breath.

"Are you trying to ruin my reputation? Taesoon is a well known rival to our company, how could you not know that? On top of that you were about to go have a moment with him alone, what if someone saw you guys? do you understand that anyone could've started a stupid rumor that can affect the companies reputation?"

"Please, It's fine to just talk, it's not like he was going to get into my pants. It's a business event." I defended myself.

"Oh really? why do you think he took you out? Why wouldn't he try something like that, especially after I saw him gawking at you like a starving dog, please i know what I am doing. You just do whatever I say."

"Excuse me, if you're so smart just do everything yourself then, you don't even need me at this point." I was getting frustrated with this whole argument. It wasn't a big deal, I am smart enought to know what to do, I am not a child.

"Stop acting like a child, you're new to the company, I know what's right and wrong, you're not smart enough already to take those decisions."

oh my god. "Oh really? you know everything? You can do everything right? fine, I am going to take a rain check, enjoy giving your speech and socialising with everyone. You have no idea how much of a help I was to you tonight. Goodnight Mr Jeon. I'll see you at work tomorrow."

I immediately walked towards the exit, hoping he would stop me or apologise but he's my boss. Nothing more, he does not care and so it's fine.

I walked out of the hall and the driver came with the car.

"Oh is Mr Jeon not coming?" He asked to which I replied no.

"Im sorry miss but he instructed me not to let you use the car alone, I'm sorry i cannot give you a ride, you should wait for him."

"What? but I came with you alone. When did he say that?"

"Just now, he gave me a call.'
