Jungkooks Pov

After my speech I tried to look for Hari, i thought she must've come back inside but I was wrong. I was wrong about one more thing.

For how i behaved tonight. She was right, I could've been more calm and understanding. She's an adult she knows what shes doing and all the people liked her so much, instead of talking to me, they are asking about why she left.

I hate lying. But I can't do anything at this point.

I walked out after giving my speech, usually that is when I leave all these events, I don't wish to stay unless I see someone I could have a good time with.

But tonight, the only person occupying my thoughts were Hari. I needed to apologise even though i usually don't do that. I wanted to apologise. It was already raining by now.

I tried to call her but she didn't pick up. The driver told me that she started walking looking for cabs.

God this stubborn girl.

I asked the driver to go home and that I will look for her myself. I can't let her be alone with anyone.

I drove carefully analysing my surroundings and after 10-15 mins of driving, there she was, drenched sitting on a park bench.

Hari Pov

I sensed someone walking towards me with an umbrella in his hand. It was Jungkook. He looked at me with a straight face. I had nothing to say but I understood it's better for me to go with him. I stood up and we walked towards his car.

"I don't want your car to get wet." I stopped, refusing to sit inside.

"It's just a car, it can be cleaned. Im not going to make you pay like the last time Hari-ssi." he smiled making me giggle a little.

"Well, even if you did, i wouldn't have paid anyway." I replied sitting inside the car. It was really cold now especially since I was drenched. I gave Jungkook my address and he started driving accordingly.

We did not say a word to each other the whole ride.

Maybe it was best.

"All the roads have been blocked due to heavy rain. Everyone is requested to stay inside their houses. Stay safe."

We were nowhere near my house and I had started shivering. I did not want to stay here all night.

"Well, Miss Shin hari, thanks to you we have to stay here all night."
Jungkook said to me while stopping the car infront of a closed café.

"Because of me? Please, it's not my fault it's raining so heavily." I scoffed.

"No, but we are in this situation because of you. Nobody told you to disappear from the event. You should've listened to me and stayed."

He was right, and so I did not reply. I guess he saw me shivering because the next thing he did was offer me his coat.

I took it. I was cold.

We were sitting in silence as I checked the time.

1:00 am.

I sighed looking over at jungkook who was busy doing some work on his phone.

"What are you doing now? Don't you get any rest?" I questioned looking confused.

"Just mind your business Miss Hari. Im not working." He replied without even looking at me.

Me being curious tried to peek in his phone. I know it's not the right thing to do but I was bored! I kept leaning in till I was close enough to see what he was doing and uh... what? is he seriously watching a kdrama?

"What are you doing?" he said panicked looking at me. I looked up at him.

Oh.

We were really close to each other. I did not realise that I had completely leaned towards his side. We started at each other for a minute before breaking contact and leaning back.

"Im sorry, I shouldn't have done that." I said looking away awkwardly.

Jungkooks pov

She looked so beautiful even though she was completely wet. Not to mention she was so close to me. It made my heart beat fast. I mean obviously it will beat fast, Anyone's heart would do that if someone too close to them.

right?

She so cute. The way she awkwardly looked away. I controlled my smile and put my phone down.

Silence.

This is so awkward.

15 minutes. 15 minutes we avoided eye contact and did not say a word to each other. After 15 minutes I decided to strike up a conversation but I saw Hari had already fallen asleep.

She's very pretty and cute. I could see her features clearly. This was the first time I noticed her remarkable beauty from a close view.

He hair stick to her face and her mouth was a little open. I covered her with my Coat a little more and laid back. I need to be professional.

I still remember the first time I saw her. No, it wasn't the day I interviewd her. It was a week before the interview. I saw he at a coffee shop getting her usual order. I was struck by her beauty and did think she was pretty attractive.

That coffee shop was my usual and so was hers. I saw her everyday getting the same order, sitting and reading or just working or her laptop. I was not trying to be creepy, I had work to do aswell, but i was prefer staying in the coffee shop as long as she did because she caught my attention.

But again, that does not mean I have any feelings for her. It's just mere attraction and there's nothing wrong in finding someone attractive.

Atleast that what I hope.
