Elijah couldn't help but think of him the whole time. Him, who accidentally bumped into his chest. Was he developing feelings? Of course not, he didn't even talk to the guy properly, so how could he?
However, he couldn't deny that he did look beautiful. And, that he was just the tiniest bit attracted to him. After all, who wouldn't be?
The black & yellow hair, the pale skin, the brown eyes.. It was almost hard for the french boy to not be attracted to him.
Elijah's POV;
Once again, we were skipping class. Nobody needed science anyways, so what would happen if we skipped? It was a free school either way.
Me, Tao & Sapphire sat over a picnic towel onto the soft grass, gathered around in what looked to be a deformed circle.
Tao sighed, leaning his back against the towel & laying down on it, the green nearly touching some of his hair. He then pulled out a cigarette pack, squeezing it tightly in his hand.
"You guys want one?"
He asked, to which Sapphire nodded and hurriedly took one, about to smoke it. Too bad that Tao hadn't even lit it up yet. He laughed at her faint attempt and then snatched it back, shaking his head.
"God, you don't even know how to smoke. It's not for you, probably, then."
He pointed out, before offering another one to me. I accepted, letting out a small chuckle and taking it between my index and middle finger. Tao then pulled out a sparkly pink lighter, it's glitters were almost blinding the shit out of me. I chuckled once again and raised a brow at him.
"What's with the lighter?"
I asked him, to which he opened, revealing the flame that lit both of our cigarettes. I placed the tip of it onto my lips, before slowly inhaling and exhaling the grey smog.
"It's a gift from.. Someone. You don't get enough bitches to understand."
He told me, snickering for a moment, before also taking a puff of the cigarette.
"What? I pull lots of bitches, and you know it."
I replied, rolling my eyes at the guy, before Sapphire began speaking.
"Like that Nicholas guy who bumped into you today? Please. You were totally all over him. And still are, I see."
She told me, to which I rolled my eyes again. At this point, I could've nearly have them at the back of my skull from how much I rolled them whenever these two talked.
"Just what are you yapping about? Of course I wasnt-"
"Tell you what, Eli."
Tao interrupted me, placing my cigarette a little forcefully in my mouth in order to make me shut up. I had no other choice but let him talk.
"I bet five grand that you won't make him fall for you. If you can make him fall for you by the end of the school year, I'll pay you the 5 grand. If not, you have to clean my pool."
He offered, a grin over his pinkish lips was evident, and I could swear he had ulterior motives. But whatever, it was easy money, right?
"You know what? Fine. Hah, Easy money for me."
I took his hand, shaking it as if we were business men of some sorts. The air was pleasant around us, and there was certainly some fresh wind. Just the perfect day to skip.
"Easy money" indeed.
Tao's POV + [Timeskip; a few hours later..]
Football practice seemed like an eternity. Of course, it was fun, especially getting to trip over others with Elijah, but when it ended, it seemed like heaven, considering how sweaty and sticky I was from all the moving.
