- A full chapter from Helia's pov

I decided that I should try harder to get my darling Davina out of her isolation. I could almost feel the pain she felt. I at least know how heartbroken I would be if my uncle Saladin would weaken so severely.

I mustered up my courage and knocked on her door. "Devi please come out" I felt desperate to see her. She opened the door just enough so I could come inside.

She looked down on the ground, even in this demolished state she still looked ethereal. Her hair as a wild lions mane, her eyes sultry as ever and her cheeks the colour of roses.

I didn't hesitate for a second as I captured her in a deep hug. I squeezed her tightly never letting go.

"Let's dance" I didn't think before I spoke those words. She looked like she wanted to decline.

Before she got the chance to protest I closed the door behind myself and pulled her by her shoulders further into her room.

The first time I came over to omega to visit her I played a song that she wanted to hear on her speakers.

I put the same song on again and swayed with her. She smelt like a mixture of salt, vanilla and something citrusy. Such a fresh summery scent for someone of a such freezing home. It fit her tho as we swayed I were getting more confident twirling and lifting her.

She looked like a feather, light and fragile. She is my darling Davina.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see her aunt who nodded at me with a soft smile.

"Davina if I'm not interrupting anything may I please speak to you for a moment" our moment was cut short by her aunt.

I expected Devi to just leave with her, but before she did something shocked me.

She pulled me by my shirt to her level and whispered something in my ear, "wait for me in my room I'll be back", what happened after shocked me even more she KISSED me on the cheek.

When she was out of sight I sighed and put a hand where her soft lips just touched me.

"Oh darling if only you knew how selfish my acts really are", I muttered. I could never be without her she had become my other half.

A/n
Ok ok, kind of short chapter but I hope it was nice to get someone else's perspective. The story has really focused on some angsty topics and hopefully the pages will become more joyous and comedic with time❤️
