There have always been two...The Avatar, and the Guider. They are never in the same place but always find each other eventually. You are a part of the Southern Water Tribe, Where Sokka and Katar live. Since you were a child, you and Sokka knew you would marry each other when you turned 13. You were married but your family was also not there to see you be married off. There have always been rumors that the guide of the avatar will have multiple soulmates, while the Avatar will only have one soulmate. Both you and Yue are the same in a sense...both of you were gifted by the moon, like the Avatar you can use all four elements.
