Walker sat alone at his desk. He was spacing out, fiddling with his tooth necklace. His tooth necklace. He always got complimented on it. People always said how cool it was, how realistic it was. Some would even ask if he bought it from somewhere. He would always say he just used some white clay with a slight yellow tint and sculpted it himself. That was usually the end of it, but in reality this tooth was no ordinary arts and crafts project. It wasn't just something he made because he was bored or wanted to look cool. This tooth was real. It was an authentic tooth from a living being.

Walker's eyes panned down to look at his necklace. He could still see the small black cavity that was beginning to form. He took a deep breath and leaned back into his desk chair. The memory was still so fresh in his mind.

                                ~~~~~~~~
Walker sat in a patch of grass on his favorite red blanket. The sun was nice and the air smelled of sweet peach blossoms. His basket; which was full of peaches, sat in a shady patch under the tree so that the fragile fruit wouldn't be damaged by too much sunlight. Humming along to his music, his headset blocked out any outside noise and he laid on his back, drumming his fingers along to the beat of 'Wolf In Sheep's Clothing' by Set It Off. The sun shined through the leaves and peach blossoms as the gentle breeze would shake loose some of their petals. Taking in deep breaths, Walker fully relaxed his body and enjoyed the peaceful moment.
However, this was quickly ruined when a group of boys came up to him and distributed the peaceful atmosphere. Due to the noise canceling headset, Walker couldn't hear the boys yelling at him. Growing irritated at his small sound of contentment, the ringleader of the group kicked the now agitated puppet in the head. Letting out a yelp in pain, Walker immediately sat up and placed his hand on the throbbing spot on the crown of his skull. Face full of anger, he turned around only to let out a loathsome groan. It was Conner Smith.
"Damn it Conner, that hurt!" Walker said, his face laced with irritation.
"Awe sorry, Stalker! I just wanted the attention of my favorite person!"
'Stalker'. He hated that name. They only called him 'Stalker' because he was always hanging around Julie; the most popular girl at their college campus and the only one who refused to date Conner because of how he treats Walker. Of course, he doesn't know that, but Walker does. Julie talks to him a lot and one of the few things she hates is Conner. I mean, would you want to date someone who bullies your friend?
Taking a deep, irritated breath the dark clothed puppet rolled his eyes.
"Fuck off," He said, standing up on his picnic blanket "My name is Walker."
"What was that, Stalker? You gotta speak up!"
And there he goes, making fun of his voice again. Walker's voice was soft and deep. Due to his timid nature, it certainly didn't help much.
"Don't you have anything better to do?" Walker almost shouted. "Or did Mommy and Daddy not want to deal with your sorry, pathetic ass for the day?"
Walker quipped under his breath. Conner's friends snickered behind him. Whipping his head to look behind him, the ring leader gave them all a scowl. They all quickly corrected their behavior as Conner turned back to stare down Walker, who was now folding up his picnic blanket. Conner's face twisted into a hateful glare. How dare this...this— freak embarrass him! This emo loser was supposed to be embarrassed. Not him!
Just as Walker was about to walk away with his basket of peaches and blanket, Conner stomped up to him and slapped the fragile fruit to the ground.
