(3) Paper Rings

   It was the evening of August 21st which meant the European stretch of her tour had finally come to an end, and Taylor has never been more excited to get back home in her whole life. Not only does she get to sleep in her own bed for the first time in months, but it has been little more then a month since she's last seen Travis. So right now there nothing she wanted more then to be in his arms again, and to finally get to have him all to herself at their own house.

   As much fun as this tour has been, the exhaustion has been starting to get to her a little and she was so grateful for this break. Also in this past month she has noticed feeling come over her she hasn't really experienced in long time. It had taken her a few days to figure it out, but she realized that she was homesick. That her heart was aching for it's home, was aching for Travis. She's not entirely sure when it happened, but she was positive that where ever he was would be always be home, because he is her home.

   The flight had felt like it had taken forever and She hadn't been able to sit still since her plane landed in Kansas City. When she finally pulls up the house she hops out of the car runs to the front door, Beyond eager to get inside. She's about to open the front door she notices a pink note stuck to it with the words 'read me' on it. Slightly confused she grabs the piece of paper, opens it up and reads the words inside

Baby girl,
I have missed you more then I ever though possible, I'm so excited that you're finally home. Once you get inside you will find a trail of paper rings, I want you to follow them, they will lead to you to where I am. Written inside each ring is moment in our relationship, unfold and read it before moving on to the next.

   After reading the note she refolded it. Taylor had a feeling she knew where this was going but she was never certain when it came to Travis, sometimes he just did romantic things like this. So she opened the door and began looking around until she found a little pink paper ring on the the floor in the entryway. She picks it up and carefully unfolds it and begins to read.

The first time saw you

(Of course I've told you this story before, but it feels wrong to not use this moment)

Zero Bond, New York City

I was so nervous that I had changed my outfit four times before I left my hotel. I showed up 35 minutes too early, and ended up having to wait for them to get our table prepared and was pacing the entryway the whole time, I honestly thought the maître d' was going to kick me out. I was so afraid that I was going to act like an idiot and mess this up completely and that we wouldn't have anything to talk about, even though we had been Face Timing daily for weeks. Then you walked in and it felt like all the air was sucked out of the room, you were the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my entire life. I'd always known that you are gorgeous, but seeing you in person was something else entirely. Turns out I was worried for nothing because You came right in and gave me a hug, and our conversation flowed so easily it felt like I had known you my whole life. That's when I knew what Jason was talking about when he said it feels like fireworks when you met your person, because that night I for sure felt them.

  Taylor couldn't stop herself from smiling. He's right she's already heard that story probably 100 times already, but it's probably one of her favorite stories of all time. She walked a little further down the hall until she seen the little blue ring which she scooped up and unfolded as well.
