Today was another normal day, it was going oddly slow though, Sunny was working On some pieces of art with the kids while MOON was Playing with some children in the ballpit.
the Chip that the Tech person had removed had accidentally ripped out the piece keeping them in one body, Now they are separated, Its weird how that part was taken out 4 days ago and it only just now had done something.
" Y/n y/n! Look! "
Y/n rubs her eyes, tired as she looks at Sunny and the kids.
Sun is covered in stickers of himself and his brother, Y/n chuckles as she walks over to him, Sun is delighted to have stickers Decorated all over him, But to y/n it's ANOTHER mess to clean up, she begins plucking off stickers.
" hey! I like it! Don't touch it!!! "
Sunny pulls Y/n's hands away, y/n laughs as she smiles and sits down on the floor, Sun sits down next to her, wondering what she's gonna do now.
She grabs Sunny's hand and places it on her leg, Grabbing a marker and immediately doodling on his hand.
" ooo! Yaaay! Sunshine is drawing on my hand this time!! "
Y/n smiles as some kids Gather behind y/n messing with her like she was mother of them all.
Y/n finishes up, sunny lifts his hand to his face to find a little sun and moon holding hands while A y/n stands between them like a family photo even.
Sunny smiles more and stands up running away to go show moony.
This day is going by just like a day of summer school, It's taking forever.
Odd.
Y/n is enjoying herself with the children, They are playing with her hair, One is sleeping on her and another is drawing right beside her, she seems to be keeping a good eye on the paper, trying to see what The kid was drawing.
Meanwhile sun was shaking Moons shoulders as he showed him the Drawing y/n did on his hand, Moon had to admit it was really good but he didn't wanna seem, jealous.
Moon smiled at the photo of them 3, before pointing out how ugly Sun looked with those stickers on him, Sun began yelling at moon and kids around them giggled as they Rambled.
Y/n scratches the back of her head, feeling the hairstyle moon had given her, braided pigtails, before she finally decides to speak loudly, trying to stop the argument.
" moon? Those stickers are mostly of you, so you're technically calling yourself ugly. "
" what sunshine said !! "
" whatever."
Y/n and sun look at each other before giggling and soon evolving into laughter.

An hour and a half goes by, y/n is working on some documents while the youngest kid in the daycare is on her lap, Treating her like its mother and sleeping On her freely.
Y/n leans her head into the palm of her hand, Bored as she Typed stuff up with one hand into The computer.

Something was wrong, Everywhere outside of the daycare was Loud with silence, No children, no parents, No screaming, Speaking or any sounds of movement.
Though y/n couldn't go out of the daycare unless she needed to head to the break room.
Moon walks over to Where y/n is sitting.
" you alright? "
" yeah, Just Thinking.."
" you Think with 'ur eyes? "
Y/n blinks a few times before lowering her gaze at Moon.
"Moony."
"Whaaaat? Just curious, You seem to be moving your eyes around a lot but Not thinking as much. "
Y/n stares at Moon and moon stares back, they stay like that for a while before Y/n realizes the child on her lap had woken up, she picks up the child, standing up as she walks around the desk to give the child to moon.
"I think it's time we put the children to bed-. "

Before y/n could say another thing, an explosion and rumble could be heard in the distance, coming from the atrium, and soon flames can be seen engulfing the walls that separate the daycare from the atrium, Y/n becomes alert and immediately goes to a fire alarm, Pulling on It as loud sirens blare.
Moon and suns sensors go off rapidly while y/n runs to grabs as many children as she can carry.
"Grab all the children! "
Moon runs to the ball pit while sun runs to find whatever kids he can.
Moon has 4 kids in his arms while sunny has 3, Y/n held 2 kids, the oldest kids were following y/n's lead.
" do not breath in the chemicals, Hold your breaths for as long as you should okay?! "

Eventually They all make it out, Y/n, sun and moon all put down the kids and Immediately find their parents, but that same youngest kid Clings onto Y/n.
Y/n realizes Something, They left a kid, napping in the daycare.
Panic sets in and y/n picks up the kid, handing it to a random parent as passing a barely covered toddler to a steaming hot metal Bot is not really the best idea, She already messed up telling them to take As many kids as they could.
Y/n runs inside.
" Y/N! "
Sunny yells as his sun rays dampen from the heat burning it.
...
Running through flames, Avoiding each and every Ceiling tile that falls from above as she makes her way to the Daycare, the doors were burned down and there wasn't much time, The heat was being turned up Rapidly and frequently.
Y/n quickly Looks around before hearing crying, she runs towards the noise, Quickly swiping at the noise, The toddler, Picking up the toddler she makes her way out quickly, Finding her way back to the entrance, It was blocked off by a fallen pillar.
She had no choice but to go to the back exit, she could hear the firefighters outside putting out the fire slowly but this child wasn't going to be told to wait.
She swiftly makes her way to the back exit, Nothing was distracting her and She finally makes it out the back door, Everyone had gotten out the entrance so she wasn't greeted with immediate care.

Settling down, She breathed heavily and unsteadily, she sits down on the floor next to the Garbage Bins, She leans her head back on the wall, Her whole body hurts and she doesn't know why.
She quickly checks the kid for any injuries, luckily nothing but a small Itty bitty scratch.

It takes y/n a good moment to realize, it wasn't that easy after all, She was so focused on saving this kid that she did realize she had impaled herself with a piece Of a broken metal plate, it cut halfway through her stomach, she Immediately breaks down in tears, Realizing she Can't fight the fact that.
She was gonna die.

Sun and moon wait anxiously at the entrance hoping for the love of their life to walkout of the smoke Like the hero she will become, but no, a loud thud and the entrance becomes blocked.
Moon knows Y/n must've noticed it fall so she must be on her way through another route.
...
Minutes go by, minutes turn into hours.
Eventually a search team is dispatched, on the look out for a woman and a Kid.

Sun and moon Also search around calling for y/n around each corner they go around and eventually, they see something at the corner of their eye.

Y/n cradling a kid, trying to rock it to sleep as she Deals with the immense pain of a metal plate half way through her stomach.
Her eyes so soft and Vulnerable, Sun covers his mouth and falls to his knees while moon becomes Panicked, Sun begins to cry as moon sits next to y/n and cradles her and the child in his arms.
" y/n, please, hold on....help is here..T—they're gonna save you okay?.."
Y/n stares straight ahead, tears rolling down her cheeks as her head drops onto his Shoulder loosely.

Search crew Finds them finally.
Sun is leaning against his brother chest as he cries Loudly and Painfully. Moon holds Sun in his arms and to his chest as he stares at the ground.

Soon the Search team has pronounced the child alive and y/n
Dead.
