At iyan yung pinaniniwalaan ko, wala akong naging karelasyon simula noong mamulat ako sa pagdadalaga, kahit isa—nbsb kumbaga. Life is not about only relationships with someone . Life is everything. So at the age of 20, my life is far from what people here are used to. Inshort, they are liberated or those who do not lag behind the trends.
I am the person who is just on the sidelines, quiet and focused on learning. I don't have time to join my friends who are having fun, going out, and partying but sometimes I join when I don't have homework to do.
Nagligpit na ako ng mga gamit ko ng sabihin ng professor namin na pwede na kaming umuwi. Ang last subject namin ay Foreign Language Elective. Yes, you heard right. I pursue tourism course.
"Rae, gusto mo sumama mamaya sa birthday ni Archie? Sasama yung pinsan mo kaya ano? Sama ka?" Nezz asked as we walked down the hall. Si Archie ay boyfriend ni Nezz.
"Kahit naman meron si Kira ayaw ko pa rin pumunta. What will I do there? I don't even know anyone and I still have to memorize the FLE. " I said while watching the students being led to the court.
Uwian na ah? Bakit pa sila pupunta roon? May laro ba ngayon? Eh Tuesday—Ah shit. Naalala ko nga pala na may laro ng basketball ngayon, bakit ko ba nakalimutan?!
I looked at Nezz who was talking to her boyfriend on her cell phone, even though she knew Archie was playing basketball, she still disturbed him. Ramdam niya ang titig ko kaya napataas siya ng tingin sa akin.
"What?" she asked while raising her brow and fixed her bag as well as the expandable file she was holding. Ibinulsa niya na rin ang cellphone niya.
Napanguso ako, "Let’s watch the basketball game." sabi ko. Pinaningkitan niya pa ako ng mata at ngising aso nanaman ang pinapakita sa akin ni Nezz.
Napairap ako ng sumipol pa siya, "Uy lagi nalang ah, sino ba yan at nang malaman ko kung bakit mas may oras ka pa manood ng basketball kaysa sumama sa amin, ni hindi ka naman interested noon ah." Ngisi niyang tanong.
I don’t know either, basta noong minsan na sinama ako ni Nezz at Kira na manood ng basketball parang may nakakuha na ng atensyon ko. There’s something i can’t even tell. Because i am inlove at first sight? Argh this is not me.
"Wala, inaaral ko lang yung mga galaw nila so i can tell and teach my younger brother." rason ko.
Austin Jerssey Velasquez is my brother name. He is 15 years old now and a basketball player. Valid naman yung reason ko kasi totoo naman na minsan ay inaaral ko ang mga galaw nila, lalo na si Dessauer—jersey number 14. Maganda at smooth yung galaw eh.
Nezz laughed and poked my side to tickle me. This skinny girl looks like she's jumping. I gently slapped her hand and showed my little hand, I knew she knew what I meant so she stopped laughing. Bwesit talaga.
Hinila ko na si Nezz papunta sa court, tanong ng tanong eh, nandon din naman yung boyfriend niya since kasali rin sa varsity.
Malalakas agad ang hiyawan ang bumati sa amin. Practice pa lang pero marami na agad tao. Of course, may mga mukha namang ipagyayabang ang mga basketball player ng school namin.
