Chapter 3 | Birthday Magic

It was after school and the Blue toned skin had made sure she was all prepared and now headed to this kids address. Trixie was sure to dodge her main Care taker at the time, she despised her. The white haired made sure to just have the basics, due to not having a ride. Her posture stayed well and she just kept forward. Trixie simply just wanted the rest of the day to go well, especially after the last class of school. What even happened? It was just a minor incident. All the other kids were messing up , so why would Starlight react in such a way?

Either way the girl tried to shake it from her mind, but she couldn't how Starlight Glimmer reacted, it was just... concerning to her. The girl turn down the street the one that she believes the girl that she felt that could have became her friend lived on. She just tried to ignore the house, the yard scattered with furniture and a woman sat on the porch smoking, staring at her phone. Trixie kept at it passing as she noticed a slight slam of a screen door. Looking over and there stood the same girl, but out of spite Trixie turn her attention away to ignore the girl,

Soon pass and now very much a few houses down, the girl would walk a few more  blocks to arrive at the birthday party, she saw Pinkie pie and of course had to prep for any form of the girl coming to touch her. She didn't like being touched, it was sort of a fear. "Trixieee you made it!" The girl hopped around snd thats when Trixie let out a sigh, "Of course I Did, The Great and Powerful is never late for their show." She noticed Pinkie raise a brow but then smiled . "Oki Doki Loki, well I guess since you are a bit early.. Would it be to much to ask for help?" Pinkie clasped her hands together and gave the other puppy eyes. "Pleaseeee!?"

"Help?" Trixie quoted in question she looked around and the display was not much of a child's party, it was more like, sad and not sat up for children at all. "Since you asked so kindly , I shall help you set up...But-." There was not even a pause. "Oh thank you thank you!-." Pinkie then paused and looked to the girl. "Wait what do you mean But?" She noticed a slight hum escaped the other girl. "But you must help me in return later." Is all the Purpled eyes said as The blue ones squinted. "As long as it's nothing cruel and dirty then sure." The One in the Magical cape hummed. "Of course, I'm not a monster."

And with that the two started to get to work, Trixie used a bit of her magic skill to hang up streamers, along with other decorations as her fellow work partner prepared the eating areas with table cloth just for the wind to get up and slap her in the face easily, the Blue toned girl ran over to help, "Ah thanks-!" Pinkie chimed and now had wiped her head, she smiled happily, the whole back yard was much more updated. "It was nothing, I just basically did what ever another decent human being would do." Trixie replied and noticed a Kind smile from the pink girl.

Suddenly some kids had started to enter and Pinkie clapped her hands. "Well Great and Powerful Trixie, I believe it is time to put on a show!" The fluffy haired girl giggled as Trixie gave a slight smile and nodded.

The Birthday had started and Trixie had Sat up her stuff, she kept watch as Pinkie joined the party of kids. She was confused of how Pinkie was able to get along with others , Like  seriously how can one be so ... Excited?  She soon was done and made her way over to the table where Pinkie and her would suddenly she heard a voice, "Hellu ma'am." She looked down to see the boy of the party. "Ah hello there, are you the one and only Pip Squeak?" She noticed him nod and smile.

"Well what May I do for you?" She asked softly. "I was wondering if you can do a card trick? I really find them amazing and cool!" The girl hummed and nods grabbing the deck out of no where, it was as though they just appeared, Other kids noticed and ran over, she waved her hand and the cards filed out. "Pick a Card for you are the Birthday boy." Pip did as told.
"You must show the crowd but, not me." Pip showed the card and then noticed the Magician hold out the deck, "just slide it back into the deck as I work my magic. She use it easily, making the cards shuffle and she smiled. They landed back into her hand , grabbing the card. "Was this your card?" A sudden gasp came from the boy and group of children.

"Yes ma'am! How did you do that?" He asked in amazement as then Trixie chuckled. "Ah , you poor things." She cleared her throat. "The number one Rule of being a Magician, You must not share your secrets." She placed a finger over her lips before winking and stood up now. She headed pass the kids as Pinkie waved and gave a thumbs up. Like seriously, how is this girl so nice? Trixie thought but nodded and smiled back. She soon made sure to head in the small stage. And the kids gathered around. She was now doing still small tricks but they all seemed very big and amazing to the younger kids.

Trixie had now brought out her hat. The day was almost to the end of the party, her job was simply to entertain the kids and she's saved this trick for last. She looked to pinkie who smiled. The pink girl was important for this part. Trixie has hummed. "Now for my Final Trick, I will be making my dear pet Rat, Benson Disappear!" She took the Rat from his cage and held him up, hearing the awes of the children encouraged her, suddenly she showed her hat. "Now to prove to you that Bensin is not going in any compartments, I'll simply. "She caused her hat to go inside out, it was just simple fabric. She placed the Rat into the hat, with a wave of her hand the Rat had suddenly vanished, she gasped, trying to make it more dramatic.

Kids gasped as she smiled, gently showing that the Rat was not there, and Again with the wave of her hand she said. "And with this wave I shall summon The Rat back from the Hat." She raised a brow when the Rat didn't show from the Hat, she looked about, "Oh no! I've lost Benson. And then suddenly a dramatic scream came from afar, Pinkie had jumped and jumped from fear? No of course not. The girl giggled as the Rat peaked from her hooded shirt, making the kids clap and giggle. "Oh my! That was very Magical there Trixie!" Pinkie said before she went up the stage. Trixie nervously paused and smiled, she took the Rat from her hands. Suddenly the birthday party was over and Both girls laughed together.

"Well I wouldn't have been able to do the trick without your help.

Pinkie had helped Trixie put her stuff up and looked at the small container that contained two Rats that looked quite identical. She then hummed, "That was quite an amazing Trick." The pink haired seemed to smile and walked with Trixie who was some what calm and smiled in confidence. "Of course it was, very different and a bit original." They made thier way pass the house along the drive way. "Need a ride back home? It's getting late." Pinkie offered and then noticed a shake of the others head. "No thanks, I'll walk." Trixie said feeling as though she's already took up enough of the Pink hairs time, plus she wasn't sure how Pinkie Pie drove so.

"Ok then, be safe now." The Pink haired looked to the rat cage. "And you two be safe, bye Benson, bye Chuckles." She giggled hearing squeaks and then set the cage into Trixie Wagon. She waved before getting into her car, and just as though Trixie assumed, she drove pretty fast. Trixie made sure to get her payment and gave a signed picture to the boy. She thanked them also getting offered a ride, but she insisted that she was fine. And with that The Young Magician made her way down the dark road.

Trixie had made her way out of the drive way and pulled the wagon. It didn't have much, just different magic like products. Such as cards, little cups some ping pong balls, her small display, ect." She kept along the way as the sun sank down and she looked back, the sunset was beautiful yet she's not made it home just yet. She grabbed her phone to check the time.

"No message from Malace.." she let out a slight sigh. "Of course that witch wouldn't check on me." The light haired kept at getting home before hearing a slight noise from some bushes. It was now more dark , only street and porch lights kept a glow to the side walls. Trixie kept a bit quiet as she didn't look back but she felt watched. Oh please let me get home safely..
