Chapter 5 | Late Chat

The night filled with cricket sounds and frogs along with the occasional hoots of an owl. Starlight Glimmer turned over from her sleeping position. She opened her eyes just to see the pitch dark of her new bedroom. She let out a sigh and thought of the girl from earlier then she grabbed her phone. Checking the time it was already nearly 2 am, which it didn't matter much it was now Saturday. No School when she gets up for the morning. Her eyes adjusted to the new brightness as she adjusted her screen. She opened one her Only socials to be surprised and active at this hour was Twilight.

And as she was about to close her phone she got a dm from her.

Twilight Sparkle: 1 message

Hesitant to answer she tapped it to see the girl had noticed she was awake.

Twilight Sparkle:
Hey starlight ☺️ What are you doing up pass 2 in the morning?🤔

Starlight looked at the message and replied simply to the girl.

Starlight Glimmer:
Woke up, you?

Twilight Sparkle:
Simply studying ☺️

Starlight Glimmer:
But no school today.?

Twilight Sparkle:
True but, it can never be too late to study something out there. Even if it's science to magic 😌

Starlight Glimmer:
Right. Speaking of magic - that Trixie girl? Do you know her account name?

Twilight Sparkle:
Are you sure you want her acc? She's not the nicest person out there Starlight, I'm afraid of you getting into a bad situation where you could get hurt.

Starlight Glimmer stared at the phone thinking and raised a brow. Why would Twilight care if she got hurt or not. She then noticed twilight typing again.
