"Pakhi bitiya Pani le ayi kya"(Pakhi did you brought water) pakhi who was cooking chapati heard her mom's voice from outside
She gulped down, she is scared, she didn't got time to bring water
"Nei maa, main bas ja hi rehi thi"(no mom, but I was about to go) she answered and there her mom started to scold her for being this slow
But what is her fault ,they have to go to long way to get drinking water, and she has so many works at home
She is third girl of her mom dad, she do the house works then go to the royal haveli with her both sisters for work while her little brother goes to school
She along with her sisters didn't got to go to the school
Her both sisters went to the farming land along with their mom and dad, they too work their ass off to support their family but still they didn't get appreciation from their mom dad
It's because they're girls, her mom dad wanted a boy so with that hope they got three girls
Pakhi flipped the last chapati on the pan then after a while she finished making breakfast
She immediately clean the house then placed the sitting matress
After a while she called everyone to eat breakfast
And one by one everyone sit on their place
She serves chapati and pickle with tea
She took a hand fan and wave it near her father
She noticed her dadi chewing the chapati, she smiled by noticing her dadi's mouth movement, as she is so old and doesn't has teeth, that's why she makes the flour dough with hot water so that it becomes soft
"Baba mujhe kuch paise chahiye"( dad I need some money) out of sudden their little brother who is 16 years old let out his demand
Pakhi looks at her mom, as she knows even if their father deny still he has to fulfill his demand because of their mom
She always makes sure to provide him everything
"Lakin beta aab mere paas nhi hain"( but I don't have money with me) their father replied
But as usual her mother said in mid
"Sakshi tum de do, tumhe kalhi paise mile the na"( Sakshi you give the money , you got salary yesterday) pakhi saw her elder sister nodding to their mother
She hates it, she always do this with her daughters, her son takes money from them and spend in useless things
There is only one month left for her husband to come to take her from here, as the three of the girls married at their childhood
Poonam her second sister will go to her in laws house after their elder sister then it will pakhi's turn
So they are trying to save money
Their husbands wants to bring their wife as soon they turn 18 but the girls family is getting difficulty to arrange the bidai rituals cost
They're from very poor family, but because of them being beautiful they got decent families, but their demand for dowry is still high
After a while they finished breakfast, pakhi brought water from one mile
After coming home she noticed her sisters are already ready to go to work
She immediately rushed to them but before they can go they got stopped by their mom
They turned around just to see their mom's angry glare
