I keep my eyes on Billy and watch as he runs past almost everyone. I decided I wanted to stay and watch the race. Others that knew about Michael and James went to go watch their fight.
"Hey hermosa."
"Hey." Robin beings me in a hug and lets go after.
"Hey sis" Finn says in a sassy voice and rolls his eyes. I look at him with a disgust face.
"If you don't wanna see me then get the fuck out of my face" I tell Finn.
"Jeez, you wake up on the wrong side of bed today?" This mother fucker...
"Go Billy!"
"You can do it!"
"You're almost there!"
The three of us cheer on Billy as he and the others are running to the finish line. I really hope he wins.
"First place! Billy Showalter!" Me Finn, and Robin cheer for Billy.
Billy runs up to us and we being im into a hug. I could see how happy he was. A camera flashed at us and we look in front of us and saw Michael holding a camera.
"Congratulations blondie!"

Two weeks have gone by and today is our last day here. Tomorrow they're making us wake up at 6 in the morning. I'll probably be asleep the whole ride home.
"This is gonna be our last bonfire" I say.
"And this is gonna be my last summer here" Michael says.
"Are you moving?" Finn asks him.
"Yeah, to California. My parents are sending me to military school when we get there" he tells us.
"We'll miss you" I say.
"May I have everyone's attention!" Counselor Cindy speaks up.
"This month has been so much fun. Seeing people make new friends. Everyone doing fun activities. Im so glad hat I was one of the counselors this year and-"
I zone out into my thoughts. Now im just thinking about home, how Gwen is doing. Has dad finally decided to change or does he need "more time". Its been 8 months and he still hasn't changed. Im glad I never got too excited.
"You want a s'more?" Robin asks me as I get out of my thoughts.
"Yeah Id want one" I say with a smile. I cant say no to s'mores
We all sit together and hit each other with jokes and laugh. Im glad I made for friends, I love Donna but we did need to grow out our friend group. It was the best decision.
"I cant feel my legs." Billy groans in pain ad he eats his s'more.
"We're going home tomorrow so you can rest all you want when we get there" I say.
"Hey Billy!" Delilah comes up to us and greets Billy. He stands up quickly and puts his hands in his pockets. I stand up so I wouldn't just be watching them interact while sitting down, I don't know why but that just feels awkward.
"Uh.. uh.. Hey" Billy struggles to find his words. Oh my god Billy. Act cool!
"Congratulations on the race. You were awesome" Delilah says with a smile.
