YALL HAPPY OCTOBER!!!Y/n and Robin were high school sweethearts. Their love story began in the fall of 1978 but if you really think about it theirs started way earlier then. Now, October 22nd, 1979. Their first homecoming. And from that night on, they were inseparable, sharing whispered secrets and stolen kisses in the hallways.
For Finn and Donna It wasn't difficult for them to get together. Although there would be some times when Finn would act like an idiot around her just because he doesn't know what to say, but Donna didn't care. She just saw the man he could be. In junior year they would often spent their weekends exploring the nearby woods, talking about their dreams and aspirations. They borrowed Donna's dad's old convertible and drove with the top down, feeling the wind in their hair and the sun on their faces as they watched the sunset on the hill.
Billy and Bella Showalter were doing okay. Though Bella switched to a boarding school so they couldn't really see each other that often. Billy is still dating Delilah, a girl from camp, in the summer of 1979. Delilah's personality matched Billy's perfectly, and together, they brought laughter and joy to everyone around them. One night, they organized a surprise birthday party for Gwen. The group gathered at the Blake's house. When Gwen walked in, the look of surprise and happiness on her face was priceless. They spent the night dancing, laughing, and celebrating.
Michael, the most active and thoughtful in the group, found love with Mandy, a classmate from 7th grade. Yes they had some rough patches but they never broken up, they would take breaks instead. Sadly in 1980, Michael moved to California with his parents so he could go to military school. Everyone was sad that he had to go but they promised they would reach out and send letters.
Anna, the glue that held the group together, was always there to lend a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. Although she didn't have a boyfriend, her friendships with everyone meant everything to her. One of her best memories was the night of the senior prom in 1983. The group decided to go together, celebrating their last big event before graduation. Dressed in their killer outfits, they danced the night away, making a pact to stay friends forever, no matter where life took them. And that was the night Anna found her true love, Shelly Parker.
Throughout these years, their high school was more than just a place of learning; it was a backdrop for their adventures and the stage for their growth. Michael and Billy had so much fun on the wrestling team. Finn was the one of the best players on the baseball team. Robin was smooth and quick in basketball, of course Y/n, Donna, Mandy, and Delilah would always go to their games and cheer for him.
The group's bond was further strengthened during the winter of 1983. A heavy snowfall had reached to their town. They spent the day building snowmen, having snowball fights, and sledding down the biggest hill they could find. As the sun set, they gathered in Anna's living room, warming up with hot chocolate and sharing stories of their favorite moments. They laughed about their mini adventures they used to have, like the time Billy accidentally set off the fire alarm during chemistry class the second year of high school.
And last but not least. Class of '83 graduation. Everyone was so happy they made it through high school, they thought they would drop out at first.
