A new semester started after the new year celebration.
Jake tried to start it as fresh and happy as possible but he couldn't deny the disappointment he felt when he saw a stranger occupying the room next to his.
The first week started pretty normal, for most of the student at least. Jake found himself alone in the meeting room most of his free time. He doesn't have the courage to walk freely around the university, half because he didn't want to see Heeseung.
He knew the third year male has now started living in the dorms and he enrolled all applicable subject as an irregular student. They always crossed path in the hallways of music building, being one of the main reason why Jake didn't want to walk around in his free time.
On the second week of the semester, Jake was speed walking to the department because he's almost late for the weekly formation. A lot of students have been hanging out on the hallway and Jake was actually kind of getting annoyed. The students were not even from music department.
He excused himself and apologized to everyone who bumped into him, until he made his turn and saw the main reason of the crowded hallway.
Heeseung was standing in the middle of the crowd holding a sunflower and a pack of chocolate. In front of him is a first year female student from a different department.
"E-excuse me," Jake spoke louder, hoping it was not loud enough to get Heeseung's attention.
He just wanted to have his way cleared so he can go to the meeting room, but then, before he can look away, Heeseung's eyes has already found him on the crowd.
Jake quickly looks away and pushed toward the crowd, acting as if he didn't saw anything and continued on his way. He didn't dared looking back.
It didn't take time and he was able to enter the faculty, he went straight to the meeting room— feeling a bit shy as everyone watch him go over his designated seat.
"Good morning," Jungwon greeted him before handing down a file in front of him in the table. "This needs your signature before it can be passed to the faculty."
"What's this?" Jake asked.
Jungwon shrugged, "A permit for a newly formed band."
Jake curiously opened the folder and stared at the list of names included on the paper. The said band is being led by Jay and his main vocalist is Heeseung.
Jake closed the folder and faked a smile at everyone, starting the formation with his formal greeting and a prayer.

It feels awkward.
Jake was about to go back to the boarding house when he met Heeseung at the gate. The third year male has been talking with a group of boys from lower years. They met gaze once again and Jake didn't know if he's just being delusional or Heeseung is actually following him after that small encounter.
He finally took the courage to stop walking and look back, once again meeting Heeseung's gaze for the third time this day.
The third year male looked surprise and stopped walking. He looked away first and whistled innocently, putting both his hands on his pocket.
Jake bites on his lips, unsure on how to act after. He also looked away and pretended as if nothing happened. He started walking towards his own way once again, he tried to ignore the obvious fact that Heeseung was once again following him.
Well, maybe Heeseung has an important thing to do in the boarding house?
"Hey."
Is he talking to me?
