V POV:-

As I was walking inside the alley while looking here and there in hope to find Era but I didn't got even a single sight of her anywhere...

Suddenly while walking I heard a scream of a man along with that a girl's scream

I ran to that direction from where I heard the screams and when I reached there, the first thing I spotted in that place was the girl whom both me and Era were finding from the start, she was sitting there with eyes tightly closed and also she was covering her ears with her hands as if she is too scared of something or someone and also her clothes were torn from several places and she had so many bruises all over her body...

I was about to go to her but then suddenly I again heard a scream...

Then I quickly looked at that side and ran over to there, at that time I spotted a girl beating that same man mercilessly whom I have seen, kidnapping Era, I slowly took steps forward and by the outfit she seems to be Era but just to confirm I tried to get a glimpse of her face and soon I was able to get a view of her face when she paused beating him for a second and removed her open long black hair from her face which made her face shine bright under the moon...

Looking at her, for a minute I forgot to breath but then she got up and looked towards me with her raging eyes...

When I looked over to that man, my breath hitched, seeing him drowning in the pool of his own blood well he was still breathing as is stomach was moving up and down slowly so it indicates that he is alive and not dead just yet...

Era- Call the ambulance! (cold whisper)

She said lightly more like whispered which made me to divert my base again in her and this time I got a chance to examine her body fully, I mean she has blood on several places of her dress and also she has some little bruises on her hands and face...

Me- Wh-what!?

Era- Call. The. Ambulance. Right. Now!

Me- But why, you just beat that man and now suddenly so concerned for him too?

Era- Should I not be? (looked at me)

Me- N-no I...mean-

Era- I am not concerned about him, I don't care if he even dies, but I care for that girl and will do my best to help her! (cold)

Me- That girl?

Era- Will you call the ambulance after they dies!? (glare)

Me- N-no wait I am calling!

Saying this I took out my phone from my pocket and called the ambulance while observing Era's all moves...

She walked towards a tap and started washing her hands, face and legs, and also her dress, where there were blood stains then she tied her hair into a messy bun...

Till now, I was done calling the ambulance, I saw her walking towards that girl who was still sitting in the same position, I also followed her and stood in front of the girl while she crouched down to match that girl's level...

Era- You can open your eyes! Don't worry, no one will harm you anymore now!? (softly)

After she said this, that girl stopped sobbing and looked up at Era quietly and the she looked at me and flinched then she again started crying while backing away from me she then turned around and hugged Era tightly while crying
