"So?"
Jungwon plucks the heel of the pointe shoe off of his own while leveling Sunoo a glare. "What do you mean 'so'?"
"So what if it's dangerous?" Sunoo inquires with a casual shrug of his shoulders.
What was his admiration for boxing? Jungwon tiredly rolls his eyes and sets his foot back down. "It's people stupidly fighting over who has the most strength and power, Sunoo. It's a pride war and anyone who indulges in something so useless is obviously just as stuck up as the quote-on-quote sport itself," he insipidly responds.
Sunoo wages that Jungwon could have said it nicer, but Jungwon argues against it because it was the seventh time Sunoo asked about it in the span of one long and tiresome week.
He doesn't even get to finish stretching out after practice, still a bit rigid and stiff after the first couple of minutes of doing so, before Sunoo's enthusiastically-Jungwon would've surmised that Sunoo should have gotten the very obvious hint that he didn't want to be bothered-bothering him again.
About the same damn topic.
"But it's so cool," Sunoo verbally admires. Jungwon could see the way his eyes sparkled with interest in the mirror on the wall. "It's like an action movie, just without the fake stuff."
"And I thought that you didn't like action movies, Sunoo. And what's so cool about seeing them abuse each other in a ring? It's not good to act on anger, you know? The whole thing is just immature," Jungwon matter-of-factly prattles as he checks the clean bandages wrapped around his sole.
"I don't like action movies," Sunoo affirmatively reiterates. "But! I do like seeing hot guys fight from time to time." He complacently smiles from where he's sitting.
Oh, my fucking hell.
Jungwon bitterly scoffs, removing his other shoe and placing them both on the smooth floor instead of chucking them in Sunoo's direction. "Can you not make every topic about a hot guy?"
"Okay. Fine," Sunoo huffs petulantly, bringing his lips into a childish pout as if he were a child and had Jungwon yank his toy away from him. "But considering that their training building is just a block away from ours, I would've thought you would be at least lenient on how you judged them. Boxing isn't really what you make it out to be, Jungwon."
"Oh, and you would know." Jungwon sits down where he was standing, perching a leg over the other to massage his aching feet. Practice was annoying and painful to the point that Jungwon had forgotten the reason he had signed up. "I bet you like...watch them practice or something."
Sunoo grins a very very unashamed grin, where he should at least be embarrassed that he was so helpless that Jungwon could read him like a book and predict him like some type of fortune teller. "Maaaybe," he chimes, hinting, raising his broad shoulders and dropping them back down in a you have to figure that one out shrug.
"You're so helpless, Sunoo." He glances over at him with a scrunch to his nose. "And weird, weird too," he murmurs in disapproval, peeling back the bandage coiled around his foot. He wasn't bleeding but he surely was bruised.
"It's not a bad thing. If it was a pride war like you had said," Sunoo perpetuates Jungwon's reasonable irritation by putting air quotes around his claim. "Then they would be-and should be-flattered that someone comes to watch them from time to time."
