CHAPTER FIVE

NUT'S POV

First of all what was going on in my dad's mind to allow a such a guy in our house, what the hell was that smirk,  I couldn't keep my eyes to myself as the guy look way too cocky and acted as if everyone would just fall down at his feet I didn't bother to interact I just casually greeted him and bolted up the stairs cuz I felt as if he was looking at my ass
I hate this kind of people after I went up  I took my phone and did the most logical thing  people would do when they met someone they didn't know I googled him and from what is showing on my screen I think I should be concerned about my dad's safety how the hell did he get in contact with people from the mafia I know my dad does some shady shit but at least he always made an effort to like hide it

*Phone rings*

Caller ID "nagging bee💓"

Smiling I picked up the phone

"Oh my god look who finally decided to call her brother cuz here I have been thinking that after you got married you forgot that you have a brother I'm not mad at you totally not"

I can hear her laughing on the other side it's good to know that she's doing okay

"Oh shut up nut you know with all the work going on in the company and you never told me that you're going to be coming, I know I'm not the first priority to you right now, because you always tell me when you want to do things but suddenly I hear from dad that's you are back home and you do not even bother to say hey sis im  back  "

She got a point there, but I don't think I'm at fault because coming here wasn't even my idea, I should be in Bali or something enjoying my vacation

"Sis you know that can never happen, you are the most precious person to me, who else would I have anything to tell and I don't understand what you mean by company work, are you working in the company like with dad, I thought you had your own company with your husband am I missing something here"

For a moment there was a loud silence on the other side of the phone, I thought she hanged up

"Look I don't think it's my place to tell you anything that has been going on now, you should talk to father about that"

I don't like how this is sounding at all, father hardly tells us anything so for him to include Rina something must have really been bothering him to have done that and I'm not happy that I've been kept in the dark about whatever is happening.

"Is it that serious, I hope this hasn't been going on for a long time an I am the only one that didn't know about it, you should have called me and told me, you know dad doesn't do that"

Now everything seems to be falling in place, the strange guy that just came, the lack of food in the house and dad not adding any new servants just the old ones, is he bankrupt but that is impossible right? I don't know I'm so confused right now.

" I don't know how I'm going to talk to dad,  I'll do that in the morning how's gap doing, I know he's not near you right now or he would have been the most irritating person on this phone now "

I can hear her laugh, gap is basically my friend from high school, so when he started dating my sister well let's say two or three punches flew by, but we are over that now, he's still annoys me about that every time,  he was one of the people that helped me through my tough times during high school and although it pained me that he was sleeping with my sister behind my back, but it was settled after I gave him a black eye.

"I left him at home he didn't have any work today so he's taking care of the house, you should come over tomorrow we can have some drinks and maybe go out together"

Ah marriage hasn't changed these to one bit, they are still the party couple they used to be, I don't know if that's a good thing or not but these people they like clubbing as hell.

" I am definitely dropping by I missed you so of course, but please make sure you get your husband off my back I don't want him to get another black eye from me"

I can hear her laughing as she hangs up the call, it's good to talk to her but I'm still concerned about the things she's just told me and the things I will be finding out in the morning.

~The next day~

Last night was the worst night of my life, like I couldn't sleep peacefully I was just thinking about what rina said the whole night, I finally got some sleep at around 3:00 in the morning and since dad would be leaving early for God knows what work, I have to catch up to him if I want to talk to him now, so I woke up early I normally take hours to get ready cuz of all the little things I have to do on my face but I just keep that and dash outside and I was lucky enough to meet dad coming down the stairs, he looks horrible his eyes looks like he haven't had a wink of sleep which just puts me in a more concerning spot.

"Dad I need to talk to you about something"

he paused turn around and looked at me as if he was trying to find out what I want to talk to him about

" Can we do it when I get back I have an important meeting to be at right now"

with that he just turned around and left I wasn't expecting anything different from this but at least he told me we're going to be talking at night so let's just hope he comes before I go to bed

I went back to my bedroom and got prepared for real this time cuz later in the day I have to visit my sister

I missed her so much ~~~~
